Key West Pet Masquerade

Key West Pet Masquerade Join us for the Pet Masquerade! Pets & owners performing for fame, fortune & prizes! Thus, the Pet Masquerade was born. (it helped fill in the time).

Registration begins @ 5 PM; Show starts @ 6:30 PM; FREE to watch, $25 donation to enter, plenty of FREE seats or bring a blanket/chair
Food & beverage available on site. Once upon a time, many years ago (about 40 or so) a big hotel and a little radio station decided to create an event that would include their pets and an excuse to dress up in costume. Since it was so new, they set it up in the ho

tel parking lot and had the owners parade their animals around it before the contest began. As the years went by, the categories, the entries and the attending crowd grew too large for the little parking lot and even the hotel grounds , so the parade and radio station became a thing of the past........

Cheers to Nancy D'amato & Lower Keys Friends of Animals for Founding and producing this beloved legacy event as a part of our Fantasy Fest Celebrations! Now on the Wednesday of Fantasy Fest week, the beautiful grounds of the Key West Truman Waterfront Amphitheater comes alive as animals and their owners join together to strut their stuff for a worthy cause! In 2024 Florida Keys Media - Radio Stations and the Monroe County Sheriff Animal Farm will carry on the celebration! In years past, more than 2000 people cheered over 60 entries and this year promises to be another fun packed event as children and adults walk, dance and even skateboard on stage with their favorite variety of pet or pets dressed in every costume imaginable.

1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes are awarded in every category
plus one Grand Prize winner. Registration- $25 per category (enter as many as you wish)
All registration fees benefit the Monroe County Sheriffs Animal Farm. Registration starts at 5pm
at the Truman Waterfront Amphitheater
Contest begins promptly at 6:30pm

We are exactly one week away from Pet Masquerade 2024 at the Truman Waterfront Coffee Butler Amphitheater on Wednesday Night October 23rd starting at 6:30 pm. We are proud to announce your hosts for this years Pet Masquerade, WEOW 92.7's Rude Girl, Conch Country WCNK 98.7 Steve Miller and WAIL 99.5's Carolyn Guarini. As we get closer to October we at Florida Keys Media are very excited to present this years Pet Masquerade during Fantasy Fest 2024. Join us on Wednesday Night October 23rd at the Truman Waterfront Coffee Butler Amphitheater for the premier family event for Fantasy Fest benefiting the Monroe County Sheriff's Animal Farm. Registration for contestants will start at 5:00 pm and the show will begin at 6:30. We want to thank our amazing sponsor who with them we could not make this happen: Keys Auto Center, Fausto's Food Palace, El Meson De Pepe's Restaurant & Bar, The Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory, La Te Da, The Hemingway Home and Museum, Two Friends Patio Restaurant, Pepe's Cafe.
