Tomorrow marks two years since Athena was rescued from unimaginable cruelty.

At just weeks old, she was found with her siblings on the brink of death after having their tails docked and ears cropped illegally in the basement of a Philadelphia home.

But since that day, Athena has come so far. She still may take her time to trust, but when she does, she’s everything you could hope for in a companion - funny, full of s***k, and fiercely loyal. True to her Cane Corso nature, Athena forms incredible bonds once she knows she’s safe, and she’ll stand by you through thick and thin.

Tomorrow may mark her second anniversary at our shelter, but we hope that she can find her forever family before then.

Today, adoption fees for all members of our Lonely Hearts Club, including Athena, are waived thanks to Freshpet.

Thanks to everyone who came to our Valentines Day Party last night! It was so much fun and Finn was exhausted when he got home from playing so much. I hope you all had a great time and if you have any pictures please tag us or post them in this thread because I was so busy I didn't get any.

Those of you have come into the store know I am huge fan of our Yak cheese sticks because they keep your dog busy for hours and help get energy out when they can't be outside because of the cold. This is part of my pack last night while I was watching the Super Bowl.... I think they like them 😉
