**ATTENTION CURRENT CLIENTS**

Dr. Hood is scheduled for back surgery on Oct 20 and will continue to see appointments through Oct 17. Due to restrictions, she will be out for 6 weeks minimum. Tentatively will plan on scheduling limited appointments the first week of Dec.

While she is out, there are four practices helping cover any emergencies for current clients in good standing* that arise during this time. Please remember these are independent from Hood Equine, so any cards on file are not available and payment will be processed through them accordingly. If any medical records are needed during this time, please contact the office directly.

We so appreciate all of your support during this period and will be back as soon as possible!

Hey everyone! The office phone lines have been down since yesterday. While we can receive voicemails, texts are unable to go to and from. Please contact Dr. Hood's cellphone for appointments and such in the meantime. Non urgent calls will be returned, and texting will be the easiest way for us to handle everything for the time being.

Unfortunately, we are having phone issues this morning! If you have an emergency, as always, if you're a client in good standing please call our emergency line.
It looks like the best way to contact the office during this outage is via email - I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Friendly reminder that we will be closed for emergencies and regular appointments today through Wednesday, February 21st.

If you have an emergency, Dr. Hood has arranged for both Judson Road Animal Clinic (903.663.1111) and Red River Equine Hospital (318.965.4060) to be on call for any emergency needs you may have while she's out. Alternatively, Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (979.845.3541) is also always open for emergencies.

We have taken away Dr. Hood's phone to let her recover so you will likely not get a response from her in the next few days haha.

The office will be open and available to schedule you for the future regular hours! Text us at 409.254.3616 for the fastest response times.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year fam!!

We are so grateful for all of your support through 2023 and are so blessed to have some of the best clients and wonderful patients on the planet.

We will be closed next week to celebrate Christmas and New Years with our families.

A couple reminders while we're out:
1. Emergencies are for current clients in good standing. If you have an emergency, call Dr. Hood.
