Barkley's now carries the Comfy Cone - a great alternative to hard plastic cones. The soft e-collar helps pets heal from surgeries, hot spots and allergy flare-ups by preventing access to sensitive areas. A couple of people have asked about these, so we found a brand made in the US!

A heads up for next week's Let's Talk Dogs on Windy Radio 103.9 - Monday the 16th at 1. We'll be interviewing best-selling author Ann DeMuth - you may have seen the article about her in the paper. She'll be discussing her new book Runaway Rescue Dogs: Ollie, Enzo, and the Shelter Skedaddle. There may also be time to mention a few other locally available books for children that are about dogs. What a perfect Christmas gift!
