It was a very cold day. Your arthritis was present, but the walk we took was the longest ever…. To where the sidewalk ends. You actually sat there and stared ahead as if to memorize the view. And I watched you and memorized you. It was as if we both knew something.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far to our fundraiser for Dennis and Boots. We are happy to say that we are sending right now to Dennis and Boots some much needed money for their survival. So glad we are able to get this to him before more bad weather comes his way. This brings the total so far for this last fundraiser to over $500. And this total doesn't include cash and other items that were purchased with other funds collected for Dennis and Boots. Hopefully we will pick up some more this next week.

Thank you ! Thank you! TEAM BOOTS 🐈‍⬛

Through your quick and generous donations, four canisters were delivered to us at Everlasting Hug this morning.

With a little research, we decided to have Amazon ship them here(arrived today) rather than Norwich (arrival next Monday)

And by shipping through Fed Ex today, Dennis will have these by Thursday!

Checking the upcoming forecast for Norwich, these will provide him with a back up supply so that he doesn’t have to be refilling as much in the freezing cold.

It is important to keep in mind that each canister provides 8-10 hours of heat for keeping his car-house warm at night and during the day.
His creative “filling” station is outside in the elements. Not in a warm room. He cannot wear gloves because of the delicate threading of the attachments. This is a big game changer for Dennis and Boots. He still has to do all the work himself, but he can get some security knowing he has others on hand that are filled and ready to go. Should there be rain or snow.

Dennis and Boots🐈‍⬛ have been homeless 15+ months and living in his car in Norwich. No electricity, just to focus on one unimaginable problem. How do they survive? Watch this video and marvel at his determination, patience, creativity and ingenuity to survive in freezing temperatures. Dennis would like to have four more of these refillable canisters. He needs so much but staying warm is essential and very time-consuming. These canisters Need to be hand filled to produce 8-10 hours of heat. He uses three at a time in his car.
