Baby steps π he still has a long way to go but progress is progress πͺπΆβ€οΈ
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY FROM CREED!! Watch as he walks, unassisted to the front if his kennel! He does this a lot since moving him to this one π I believe that he is capable of doing this great outside of it as well, though I think he mentally gets overwhelmed and nervous about not having "support" around him (unlike the kennel feeling enclosed) so he struggles a lot more. We have to build his confidence that he can do it on his own!
Look! At! This! This is Creed enjoying his new kennel! He has more room, and still has cushion to protect him when he looses control. But his energy π It is contagious, I must say!!
Feel free to share his posts! Don't be afraid to spread his contagious optimistic, energetic, heart-filled light! He doesn't let his disability stop him from being full of love and joy β€
Creed has a new and improved kennel! It has room for improvement, so any and all suggestions to make it better are welcome π₯° I would like to start by getting more pool noodles to double up under the pillows. And I need to find Scotchgard to spray the cases with to waterproof them (apparently the local Walmart did not have any.) I am also considering a rubber mat to keep him from slipping when the kennel gets wet. Other critiques are appreciated!
Here is Creeds video of his first therapy day! It has been advised that I purchase my own peanut balls and vest to do some exercises at home. Any contributions to go towards this extra expense would be greatly appreciated! The items have already been purchased, but the GoFundMe is available. His weekly therapy appointments are $50 each and are 1.5 hour drive each way to attend.
He can stand to eat without leaning on the bin!
*Please note that his bedding was being washed at this time, so he only went without it for a short bit*
