"That First Ride"
I love sharing the journey of our horses from start to finish. As many of you know, we take profound pride in our horses and program as we start them from the absolute ground up! Our horses come in UNTOUCHED as we want to put the proper foundation and fundamentals on OUR horses so that we can guarantee you get a 100% safe AND sane horse!
Our beautiful and ONE of a KIND process of the first ride with horses that we personally start ourselves will forever have me mesmerized, as the anticipation builds up in the chest like a fluttering bird, eager to take flight. As you approach the majestic creature, its coat glistens in the warm sunlight, you could feel the palpable connection forming between your two delicate souls, an unspoken bond that transcends words. The gentle snorts and soft whinnies of the horse seems to echo your very own excitement, creating a symphony of nature that harmonizes with the rhythm of your own heartbeat.
With each careful step, I mount the saddle, feeling the sturdy yet supple leather beneath me, a reassuring reminder of the adventure that lay ahead. As the horse responded to my gentle cues, we began to move in sync, gliding over the sand as if we were dancing to an ancient melody known only to us. The world around us fades, the vibrant colors of the landscape blurring into a beautiful tapestry of reds, pinks, purples and browns, while the wind whipped through my hair, invigorating my spirit.
Every sway of the horse's powerful body brought a rush of exhilaration, a blend of anticipation and freedom that electrified my senses. I marveled at how this creature, so large and strong, could be so responsive to my every touch, instinctively understanding my intentions as we ventured deeper into the session. The thrill of that first ride, filled with laughter and learning, opens the eyes to the profound connection between human and animal, a bond that is ONLY rooted in trust and respect.

Unwritten rules for a cowboy:
Never ask to go back to a place you were invited to as a guest without being invited again.
Never leave the trailer without an extra rope and tie strings.
Never cut in front of a fellow cowboy horseback.
Never be late- 30 minutes early is a plus.
Not everyone loves your dog as much as you do so
keep em in check or leave em home.
Don’t brag about how many broncs you’ve stomped or cows you’ve roped.
You aren’t Wyatt Earp so don’t act like it.
Don’t claim you got it done when you have to call in for someone with a 4 wheeler.
Don’t ride off before the boss.
Don’t hoop and holler more than needed they asked for day help not a noise maker.
Respect your fellow cowboys.
Workin cattle is never a race.
Keep your head down and work hard cause you never know when you’ll ride your last horse.
