Sphynx of NY was started when we realized how many people have been scammed while trying to find their new baby. Although many overseas breeders are amazing to work with, people don’t always feel comfortable adopting from overseas, and many U.S. ads are actually from scammers.

This is heartbreaking to so many people that just want a baby and don’t know where to turn. We are here to give you piece of mind, to video chat, to talk on the phone anytime you have concerns or questions. We don’t claim to have all the answers but we know people who do, from Veterinarians, Top Quality Breeders, Nutritionalist, Behaviorist, and many Sphynx owners. We are here to help in every way possible. ❤️

Here we do our very best to match Sphynx, Bambino, Elf and Dwelf lovers with their new perfect baby. All kittens from SONY are medically tested, shots, microchipped, registered, health guaranteed, and loved as our family members until they join yours.

Everyone is welcome to post on this page but SONY does not guaranty any pets or claims from other members or their posts.

Together we can learn about these amazing creatures, which are unlike all other breeds. If you are just looking for a hunter to keep your home free of critters, this breed is not for you. They want and deserve to be king or queen of your lap, bed and entire home. They thrive on attention, actually they demand it! They must be allowed to lick you constantly, sleep under your blankets or on your pillow, tease all other pets in the home, always expecting you’ve got their back because they are worthy of being your favorite. 😁

These amazing cats usually, love water, travel well, and even love video games and watching tv. They do better in pairs because they are so needy of attention but do fine alone if not left alone all the time.
