I am sure many of you have seen me post “Hoss” He is my brother’s hound & one of the best looking guys we’ve ever had. He was unfortunately hit by a car today and we are absolutely crushed and devastated. I have never been so upset over a dog that wasn’t “mine” before.

This handsome boy was the silliest, most handsomest, goober ever.

I am having such a hard time losing him, that after our next litter is placed with our deposit holders,
I am not sure we will continue with our bassets.
I started with Bassets & never thought this day would come and never want to stop with my bassets, I am just lost and need guidance, sleep, and lots of good vibes + prayers.

If I decide to stop breeding bassets, my main breeders will stay as fixed pets & I will rehome my others. Please keep our family, especially my brother Peyton in your thoughts & prayers. I was just told that he said a few days ago, “all I have left is my dog”
I couldn’t imagine my life without him and he is a huge part of the reason I’m able to have my kennel & farm today. 🖤
