Trigger Warning: Getting word that one of our dogs got shot due to it is a "dangerous breed". You hear about it all the time, but this is the first time it's happened to one of ours. JUST BECAUSE A DOG IS A PITBULL DOES NOT MAKE IT DANGEROUS! A DOG IN ITS YARD JUST EXISTING GIVES YOU NO REASON/RIGHT TO SHOOT IT! This is beyond unacceptable. I won't stop til the stigma stops.

We had the joy of being requested to review an amusement parks accessibility to service dogs yesterday. Raptors (one of our trainers) and two of her in person clients went and tested it out. Oppurtunities like these are a step in the right direction of changing the world to be more accessible to the disabled community. We would not be able to do things like this if it was not for all of you and your support. Silverwood Theme Park

Mississippi was a blast. We ran into 0 access issues and even had the officer at the ER stop in to compliment on how amazing Appa is.

I knew this day would come eventually, I just never expected it to be this soon. One of the hardest things as a dog trainer to endure is losing a dog, even if it is a clients. We work with these dog and they become apart of our lives/ our families. Please send healing vibes and prayers as we grieve this horrific loss.

I never thought I'd move a clients status from active to deceased..... Never take any second for granted with your dogs.

Due to a mass influx of messages asking this, I would like to take a moment to publicly state it.
As a German shepherd handler, I plan on getting my new prospect when Appa is 7. When the prospect is ready to do public access, then I will work them tandem. This will then lead to me slowly taking Appa with me less. My plan is to have him happily retired by the age of 9. That is if everything goes to plan. Also, yes my prospect will be from Jennifer Weissman again and he will be another german shepherd.
