A group of caring community members came together to create a network of volunteers who helped to save dogs in the Kingsville Animal Control Facility and the community. The group has grown from there and hundreds of dogs have been given a new chance at life! We are not affiliated

with the Animal Control Facility itself, but are an independent group of volunteers. Please contact us if you are interested in donating, fostering, rescuing, or volunteering.

We have an absolutely heartbreaking update on Snoopy…💔

Overnight, Snoopy lost his fight. The medicines he was given were working but his body just couldn’t fight any longer.

Snoopy passed peacefully and comfortably. His story is a testament of the strength and determination animal lovers around the world have.

We want to say thank you to everyone who donated and shared Snoopy’s story.

The remaining funds donated for Snoopy will be going directly to other dogs in our care. We hope everyone will continue to support our ongoing need.

Snoopy now gets to continue being the best good boy ever without any pain.

Snoopy will forever be our hero. ❤️

An update on our boy, Snoopy. ❤️‍🩹

He was seen by our vet first thing this morning. Snoopy’s lungs are in bad shape due to the severity of the heartworms in his heart.

His injured leg has an open wound that is infected. The injury to his leg appears to be recent according to our vet. It is highly likely Snoopy was hit by a car. His leg will be monitored and a possible amputation surgery will be discussed after his body finishes fighting off the infections he has.

X-rays revealed he has been shot and a bb is lodged in his spine. It is currently not causing any problems but it may later on in life. We will continue monitoring that.

As of right now, Snoopy is too weak to survive any kind of surgery. For the time being, Snoopy will receive antibiotics and pain management medication for the next month. He will then be seen again to reassess his condition and we will work with our vet to decide the next step.

Snoopy is going to spend the next few days in the hospital where he can be monitored full-time.

Our boy is not out of the woods or even close. His current state is unpredictable but we are going to continue fighting with him. 💔

Please help us raise funds to cover his vet expenses. We have been blown away by the support Snoopy has already received. We truly appreciate all of the animal lovers across the globe who are coming together to help pay for Snoopy’s expenses. And we know he appreciates all of your help as well. ❤️
