bed below. Live Guarantee
Live, healthy guarantee of all geckos for 7 days. If geckos are not cared for according to the basics on care sheets available at www.jbscresties.com/basiccare.html or www.lgpgecko.com/gecko-care.html, guarantee is void. An adult must be present to receive shipped geckos on the first delivery attempt for this guarantee to be valid. If there is something wrong with a gecko you have received, immediate notification (within 2 hours of the animal’s arrival) is required. Photos or proof from a veterinarian is required before a credit or replacement animal is sent. All new geckos should be placed in quarantine for a minimum of 30 days. This means they should live by themselves, and if possible, in another room away from the rest of your reptiles. Failure to place your new gecko in quarantine will result in a void of the health guarantee. Crested Gecko Tails
Crested geckos do “drop” their tails as a defense mechanism. They do not grow back like other species will. We do everything we can to prevent this from happening, but It does not affect their overall wellbeing and so is not a valid reason for a refund. We cannot be responsible for geckos that may lose their tails in shipment. If a gecko’s tail is dropped before shipment, we will make our best attempt to contact the new owner to inform them. Sexing Policy
If the s*x of a gecko is declared, then the s*x is guaranteed. If the description states probable/possible it is not guaranteed. Please do not use a gecko’s name as reason to believe it is male or female. If an animal’s description declares it is “proven” this means it has been part of a pair that has laid eggs that has successfully hatched. If a gecko that has been sold as guaranteed male or female is later determined to be the other s*x, a credit or suitable replacement will be offered. Buyer will pay actual shipping cost. Animals that are shipped are placed in individual deli cups in a Styrofoam insulated box. We ship via Ship Your Reptiles or Reptile Express with most deliveries guaranteed by 10:30am. If you live on a rural route delivery can be as late as 4pm. It is HIGHLY recommended those individuals have their animal shipped to the nearest hub for pickup. Temperatures must be favorable on both ends to ship. This means above 40 degrees overnight and below 80 degrees daytime at both locations. Shipping is done on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in case of delivery delay by FedEx. Weather must also be stable on both ends. Receiving your gecko sooner is not worth risking its life. As stated above, an adult must be home to accept the package. We must receive an email, Facebook message, or text message within an hour of delivery confirming receipt and that the animal has arrived safely, otherwise guarantee is void. We prefer to ship to the local FedEx hub if at all possible. This would save your gecko the added stress of being on a delivery truck, and means you would be able to pick it up as soon as the hub opens. You are expected to be watching for FedEx to come (or watching the tracking) as they do not always ring doorbells when delivering packages. Payment
We accept cash and PayPal. Payments must clear before your animal is shipped or picked up. In order to hold a gecko, a 25% nonrefundable deposit must be received. Payment plans and due dates will be determined as needed. Payment is expected in full within 30 days unless previous arrangements have been made. Payment plans are only available for purchases over $150 and must be agreed upon at the time of the deposit (not after if you cannot pay the remaining balance). We keep very detailed records of communication. If for some reason you do not complete payment within 30 days, your deposit is forfeited and the gecko placed back up for sale. You must be over 18 years old to purchase geckos. If you are not, please have your parent/guardian contact us. It is illegal to sell animals to a minor. Photos
All photographs are property of Fancy Pants Geckos and Fancy Pants Digital unless otherwise expressed. Permission must be given before using any of these photos other than for personal use (lineage records). Credit must be given. If at any point you can no longer care for your animal we will gladly take them back, but no compensation will be given. We would appreciate being informed if you intend to sell one of our animals. Fancy Pants Geckos reserves the right to refuse sale to anyone. Animals will not be held without a deposit and/or payment plan. Updated 5/14/14
