Unfortunately, like many of you, I have been affected by the rising costs of supplies. Since so much of my business relies on me driving around, the rise of gas prices has been especially impactful. With that being said, effective June 1, I regretfully will have to be raising my prices by $5. Drop-in prices will now be $25 per drop-in, All Day Stays will now be $55, and Overnight Stays will now be $65. I am sorry for any inconveniences this may cause, and hopefully gas prices will drop in the future and I can return to my original pricing. For those of you who have/still do business with me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’m sure that by now most, if not all, of you have heard the tragic story of Mac the goldendoodle. As an animal lover, first and foremost, and a petsitter second, I would like to say that I am truly heartbroken over the passing of this beautiful pup, and my heart goes out to his owners/family.

Being a petsitter, I take pride in the extra steps, care, and caution that I take with the furry/scaly/feathery ones in my care, and to know that someone using the guise of “pet sitter” to rip people off and cause harm (intentional or not) to animals makes me sick to my stomach. Please, when booking a pet sitter, whether it be me, or someone else, do your research. Check their social media business accounts. Communicate with them. Do not hesitate to ask questions, any and all that you may have. If it is possible, meet with them in person. Always trust your gut. It is our JOB to take the best care of your pets while you are away. Please be wary when using accounts like Wag Or Rover. Yes, there are PLENTY of legitimate pet sitters/dog walkers on those sites, but there are also those who do more harm than good.

On the flip side, please do NOT be afraid to use LEGITIMATE petsitters. I know it’s scary to leave your beloved pets with someone you don’t know, especially after hearing the horror story of beautiful Mac, but please know that people with actual petsitting businesses would risk their lives for your animals. We didn’t get into this business for the money. We made these businesses because we’re all huge animal lovers.

I know you love your pets like family. Please know that us petsitters love your pets like family too.
