I had a surprise this morning when I went to meet a new visitor to FlatCreek RV Park!! Welcome Mr. Dave Marcotte an old friend of my dad’s that I grew up playing with his kids at Southside Baptist Church in Crestview! Great catching up and reminiscing about old times this morning Mr. Dave! We are glad to have you stay at our park! I look forward to many more visits!

As a reminder during the upcoming cold weather and freeze warnings:
Please take precautions.
● Make sure you have plenty of propane.
● Keep the heat on.
● Dump your black and gray tanks.
● Let the water drip from all your faucets.
● Have fresh water on hand in case yours freezes.
● Open cabinet doors below sinks for airflow to your pipes.
● Remove your external water filters.
● Cover or take in your plants.
● Check on your neighbors.

Expansion Update:
Progress is happening at FlatCreek RV Park! Our dreams and visions are slowly coming together! Had a little back injury slow us down for a week but we are back at it! Making up for some lost time! My supervisor Coy Danny Varnum aka “Dad” is cracking that whip on me! Hopefully we will be bringing in some crushed concrete this week! Lots are all coming together nice! All of our lots will have an additional 8’x20’ parking pad or guest can use it for grilling or picnic tables! These lots If you’re looking for an RV Park with shade that isn’t your traditional setting with RV’s stacked on top of each other in an open field then you might want to check us out! We will have two WiFi options with Troy Cable and Spectrum. Both have fiber optic to our park producing great wireless internet. If one goes down we have a back up. You will not miss that episode of “Gun Smoke”!! Same way we do our water system. We have an artesian well producing great well water without the chlorine chemicals! But if our well goes down at midnight for some unforeseen reason, our campers will not go without water as we have Kinston water as a backup plan as it’s tied into our system until our well is up and running again! Amenities in next 3 months will include two ada shower/bathrooms, Laundry facility with washers and dryer’s and office storage area(ordered today), a large workout room over looking creek as you walk on elliptical or treadmill, fenced in dog park for your furry friends to run and play, and a hiking trail to a lookout over creek! We are planning on making our long term campers have options for relaxing or staying active. In the next year we hope to have an access built to the creek for lawn chair relaxing in creek on hot summer days! We have many more announcements coming! Lots can be reserved in advance! This guy Richard McDonald is our longest tenured tenant (3 years) at FlatCreek RV park! Richard has been a huge help to me this week installing our plumbing for our sewer hook ups for 15 of the 20 new sites. His faithful companion “Duck” his Labrador has stayed right with us! Notice they are both looking at the last outlet to be installed with disbelief! Richard loves to take Duck swimming in FlatCreek at our park! Especially on hot days like today!

Expansion updates: We expect to have the plumbing (water and septic outlets) for 15 lots completed by weekend weather permitting! Water from existing park was connected to expansion on Monday! Excited to share that we have decided to add 5 more lots to our expansion! Hopefully phase 2 will be completed and ready by end of July to first of August! You can place a $50 deposit to reserve the lot of your choice. This deposit will be deducted from first month rent. Come by and see us at FCRV! Getting close!
