Ear infections are fairly common in most dogs. Dogs are more prone to ear infections than humans because of the shape of their ear canals.
Common symptoms including: head shaking, scratching, odor, pain/swelling, and/or discharge
If your pooch is displaying any of these symptoms, please give a call, while most cases are mild and only require medicated cleanings, untreated infections can result in permanent deafness.
As with most things, prevention is key! If you're unsure how to clean your dog's ears safe and effectively, ask at your next regularly scheduled appointment!

Did you know horses can get a sunburn🥵

Sunburn is most frequently seen in areas where the skin is more sensitive — like around the eyes and on the muzzle of pale or white-faced horses — and horses prone to recurrent sunburn also have an increased likelihood of developing squamous cell carcinoma (a common cancer). Please, take precautions if your horses are easily burned!
