Xena is an American Pit Bull Terrier.She is almost 5 years old and has been waiting at our shelter for her forever home for more than 2 years.Xena was pregnant when she came to us and raised her 10 puppies in a foster home. She loved their daughter very much. Xena is very loving with humans and very affectionate. She loves her walks with the volunteers.She is very smart. Xena loves to cuddle, and get, and give hugs. She loves her treats but needs to be reminded to be gentle. Xena does have a high prey drive so needs to be on a leash or in a secure fenced-in yard with supervision. Stella was found as a stray so we don't have much of a background story. No one ever came looking for her.She is one of our longest-term animals and has been waiting for someone to take her home for 5 years.Stella lives in our cat room running loose with the other cats.
