Happy Tails Adoption Stories!

"Early June my family was fortunate enough to adopt an adorable Australian Shepherd puppy from Orphans of the Storm. We named her Honey.

Honey is now around 9 months old and is the perfect addition to our family! Her sweet, yet mischievous, personality keeps us all on our toes. Honey gets along wonderfully with our older Australian Shepherd mix, Tucker, who is 6 years old. She has also done a great job adjusting to the chaos of living in a house with two toddlers.

Honey passed her AKC Canine Good Citizen class in September/October. While we still have ways to go, my goal is to one day train her to become a therapy dog. She's picked up a few commands such as place, come, sit, down, high five, hug, paw, spin, and roll over. The accomplishment that I'm most proud of is that she will lay down, hand me her paw, and let me trim her nails without any fuss whatsoever.

Honey enjoys herding her older fur brother around the yard, doing tricks, playing tug, endless belly rubs and attention. I could go on and on, but can't say enough how happy we are that we were able to adopt Honey!! "

Autumn is looking for her forever home!

Autumn is almost three years old and is a Pit Bull mix. Autumn was a stray that came to us very skinny. She loves her walks with volunteers and would enjoy a home with adults.

Fosters home needed. Mom and 8 puppies born Dec 24 th. We supply food and vet care. You supply love and safe home for her and puppies until ready for adoption. Approx 8 week commitment.

Now named Sadie (originally Hope), her parents say "she is getting so big, and is so smart! She’s so sweet with my kiddos (1 yr old and 2 yr old). I couldn’t ask for a sweeter girl. 💕 She loves playing with her older dog brother Copper (also adopted from orphans in 2020), and loves playing outside! "
