WHO WE ARE
Orphans of the Storm is located in Armstrong County. We were established in 1969 to provide temporary shelter for unwanted and abused animals. We match lovable animals with loving forever homes, educate the public on humane, r

esponsible care of all animals, and promote spaying and neutering to reduce companion animal overpopulation. Orphans of the Storm is a no-kill animal shelter. This means we euthanize an animal only if it is suffering with no hope to be cured, or if the animal is a danger to people or other animals. You can donate by texting ORPH to 89871

This mom and her 10 puppies need a foster. She has been on her own since being dumped raising them until she finally came to someone. Needs an understanding foster who can let her learn to trust again. Pupoies are eating food some. She is large beagle height …. Can you help them. I know we have asked several times this week lets find them a safe place and help to get this family ready for adoptions

HELP MAX ! Max needs placement , foster ….
Max’s owner has stage 4 cancer He wants to know max is safe with a new home. Max is 7 years old. We will be having him neutered , he says max is “ gentle as a lamb “. Not been around cats. Did fine when around other dogs. Great with kids. Mostly housebroken but sheds a lot of course and pees sometimes but owner thinks with more attention he would not be doing that. If interested in max please reach out to orphans. Let’s find this guy a safe spot to land.
