The time has come, a little more than 5 years in the making, and I am flying the Benson Taxidermy nest to spread my own wings. I started there in early January 2019. I will never forget the phone call asking if I wanted to come help in the shop, the excitement I had in that very moment. Danny Benson has taught me so much involving the taxidermy world. I can not begin to express my gratitude. Through everything we developed an amazing working relationship and friendship. I can't thank Danny enough for giving me the knowledge and skills I need to pursue my own taxidermy business. It is a bittersweet moment as I close one door and open another, but I know it is not the last time I will need Danny or vise versa. My time at Benson Taxidermy will forever be special to me. I will miss all the shop shenanigans!

Thank you for being more than just a teacher—you are a friend, a mentor, and a role model! I am so grateful for everything you have done for me. Your patience, kindness, and understanding have helped me grow and succeed in ways that I never thought possible. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from you. I look forward to showing off the skills you have given me.
