Solid Ground strives to enhance the quality of life of individuals with cognitive, physical, emotional or behavioral disabilities by providing them with therapeutic horseback riding and associated activities. ention which recognizes that the bond between animals and humans fosters emotional growth and healing.

A beautiful close to a wonderful season with our Veteran’s. We shared a thanksgiving meal together, enjoyed fellowship and friendship and shared some wonderful memories of the season. A beautiful blessing!!

Huge thanks to Sky Lakes Medical Center and Kingsley Field Fire District 1 for making this happen!!! Thank you to Matt Chavarria for your work and effort as well. We are so grateful to have this equipment on hand. Kingsley Field will also be offering CPR and AED training to our staff and volunteers!!! Community partners coming together!!

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart we share the passing of our beloved veteran and friend Bob Akers! We are truly grateful for the time we had, the laughs and joy we shared and we will miss him dearly.
Prayers and thoughts are with his family, friends and fellow Veterans. 🤗😢

Thank you King Farms Land and Cattle for your generosity!!!! This amazing family has donated 25 ton of hay to Solid Ground!! A huge blessing!! We value and appreciate your ongoing support so much. Thank you again and again for helping us reach our goal and meet the needs of the horses and animals at Solid Ground!

What a beautiful evening last night at our annual fundraiser for Solid Ground!! I don’t know how the team pulled off surprising me with these beautiful flowers and spa basket but Natalie’s presentation of it brought us all to tears. There will be many pictures coming soon but we definitely reached our goal thanks to the support of so many of you. Please save the date for next year! October 11, 2025.
We are filled with gratitude and thanks and will be continuing to tally all the contributions and announcing soon.

2024 Barn Fun has officially begun! 🐮🐷🐴🐑

YOU HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT PLACE! No previous experience necessary, just a desire to be involved. We depend on our volunteers for everything from side walkers, to grooming and tacking the horses, to helping with fundraising and horse conditioning. The opportunities are limitless. We seek to match opportunities with interests and individual schedules! We also understand that volunteers have busy lives too. Don’t let that deter you from joining our incredible volunteer community!
