Merciful Maiden Critter Haven is a haven for many types of birds and animals and is located in the Klamath Falls, Oregon area. Merciful Maiden Critter Haven tries to rescue as many animals as possible from slaughter, canned hunts, abuse and neglect. Every day there are calls to help goats, kids, sheep, lambs, birds, llamas, dogs, cats, rabbits, and donkeys. If you are able to assist by making a do

This is Peanut who came to us in 2013. His owners just didn’t want him anymore. Peanut is so very sweet and affectionate and has three miniature donkeys as his friends. Peanut helps protect the goats and sheep.

Harold was bred to be meat. Because of people these types of turkeys live about 3 years max. They are doomed unless their weight is closely monitored as they gain weight fast not allowing their legs to support their bodies.
With careful maintenance they can live longer lives.
Generally they are sweet & passive birds.

Merciful Maiden rescued another goatling, Morton, from a diary...He needed to be inside as he was very weak. Pollyanna and Jaspar, the cats, really tried to help him.

Why do people spend so much on cat beds? Peanuts asked me this.
As a kitten someone witnessed her being thrown out a car window. They stopped and rescued her but could not keep her. She has been a blessing for several years now.

Freddie the frog was left lying upsidedown on the whilte line in the road. Mercifu Maiden saw him. His leg moved, so a BIG U-turn and back to pick him up. A handsome guy!
