We are getting so big! We're six weeks old now and have been introduced to some yummy real food. Our favourites: everything😂 Mamma Anna spoils us and gives us the best! In the morning we usually have organic eggs - sometimes scrambled with goat milk added and other times we get an omelette with fresh vegetables and even some tiny pieces of steak. We also get plain Greek yogurt because it is so good for our tummy with all the probiotics in it.
We are exploring the house, and get to run with the bigger doggies in the yard. So many new discoveries

We've kept mamma Anna busy since our last post. We are growing by the day. We went to see Dr. Hullman for our second exam and shots. We love playing and exploring. Our cousin Sapphire likes to show us how to find branches from the trees and bring them in the house. We play tug-of-war with them and then we like to hide them so mamma Anna finds them in mysterious places 😂 We love to eat all sorts of healthy human foods like steak, green beans, sweet potatoes, broccoli, chicken hearts, and a variety of other foods. We are really good at using our wee-wee pads. Enchanting Italo is going to his new family today, and then Nino will be going to his new daddy next week. Enchanting Graziella and Nunzio will be staying here. We remind mamma Anna the most of our grandma, Gianna. We can't replace her, but we make her smile again -just like the rest of our Bolo family.
We all have very different personalities. Italo likes to take the food bowl and drag it to another part of the house and eat by himself. 🤣 Nino likes the sound of the refrigerator makes when ice cubes are dropping into their bowl of fresh water. He runs and waits by the fridge, and then follows mommy to where she places the water down, and he excitedly drinks from the bow. Nunzio likes to talk -If you don't look at him when he's trying to get your attention, he gets louder and stands on his hind legs. He loves to be picked up and give you kisses. They all do. And Graziella -she is the tiniest one, and she has the biggest personality. She loves to play with her "aunty" Isabella and antogonize her much like her grandma Gianna did when she was a puppy. Isabella loves to play with Graziella. It's so cute to watch their bond.

We are 9 weeks old and we love to play. It’s too hot outside today so we are staying indoors till it’s cooler. In the mean time, daddy turned the air on for us

We are almost 8 weeks old. We love playing outside and we love all kinds of food. We still nurse a little bit from our mom, but we also started to drink Goat milk as a supplement. We love that! Especially with our farm fresh eggs for breakfast in the morning. 🐓
Mamma Anna and Daddy Carlos continue to hold us and play with us. We've had a bath, and our nails clipped and they touch our face and legs everyday and even look at our teeth. This will help us not be afraid to be touched when we go to the vet when we are older. We are still working on potty training, but we are doing pretty good for only being almost 8 weeks old.

We keep Mamma Anna so busy. We wake up at 5:15am and she gives us milk. We play for a while and then go back to sleep we have been introduced to lots of new things. We have gone outside for a few minutes at a time. We are carried around the house so we are used to human touch and bond. Mamma Anna practices our “stand stay” so we learn to stand still and have the vet examine us without fear. We have very sharp teeth right now. And when we are out of the pen, we run super fast throug the house. Mamma Anna and Daddy Carlos have to slide their feet across the floor when they walk to avoid stepping on us 😂.
We eat lots of different foods - ZiwiPeak, Vital Essentials and our other favorite dehydrated food is SimpleFood. Mamma Anna also makes us eggs and we’ve had chicken too. She wants to make us chicken hearts, but that was our grandma Gianna’s favorite and it’s too hard for her to make them without crying. But Daddy Carlos said he will make them when mamma is at work
We have lots of treats that are favorites. But when we don’t have treats we like to play with mamma Anna and Daddy Carlos’s feet or socks 🧦 😜
We are also learning lots from the other Bolo family. Especially from Auntie Isabella. She like to remind us who is really the boss around here 💛🐾

Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there!

We are 4weeks old now. We are going through so many changes. Our eyes have opened and we have started scooting around the x-pen. We still sleep most of the day. We also started vocalizing. It’s fun to sing and discover all the sounds we can make. Mamma Anna put down wee wee paper even though it’s too early to potty train. But she keeps our nest clean so we get used to the wee paper and develop an aversion to soiling all other areas. We are drinking lots of milk from our mamma Fiona. She gets extra calcium and other vitamins every day to help support our growth and stay healthy herself. We are walking and playing with each other, but most of the day our favorite thing to do is sleep.
We also started to eat food - just a tiny bit: eggs and we also like ZiwiPeak, and a few other dehydrated raw foods like Dr. Marty's or Vital Essentials and Steve's Real Food.

We are getting so big already. We sure keep Mama Anna on her toes. She gets up at the crack of dawn to make some milk for us so we can start to wean from Mama Serafina. She makes us eggs - which we love. We also started to eat ZiwiPeak. We love real food and our teeth are coming in so we can chew
Daddy Carlos took us outside the pen for a while so we can adapt to areas outside our pen. Mama Anna and Daddy Carlos also carry us around the house. It looks like an exciting world out there. We can’t wait to explore more of it

I went up to Crater Lake yesterday, to contemplate this past year. The year of loosing my youngest daughter. The year of Covid. The year of loosing myself and trying to find myself yet again.
I feel caught in the middle. The middle of believing and letting go. The middle of loving and not caring at all. The middle of being so hurt, and also trying my hardest to smile and carry on like life is perfect.
But it never has been for me. Yet, I keep trying. I'm still here.
Yesterday was about my way of honoring my daughter that passed, in my own way. I took a day to myself - to think, and also to get lost in photography - one of the few things that makes me feel happy.
The place i wanted to go to is called Cloudcap. But the road was closed to get there due to the weather. In fact most of the park was closed. There were only few spots that you could walk to and hike at your own risk. The whole time i was there, I saw a total of 6 people, including two workers. I really felt solace and peace. My idea in going there particularly on this day was so that i could be as close to heaven as i could so i could be near my daughter.
Even though i've been no stranger to pain over the years, it's been a hard year and my will and determination was definitely tested. Lately i've been feeling empty inside and dark. This image reflects that. Devoid of color. Devoid of human life/ contact. The clouds swirling just like my emotions.
But standing there taking in all the beauty and talking to God, even though i've had my doubts about Him - for a brief moment i felt peace. Sometimes it's good to step out of yourself, your world, your troubles and look at the bigger picture. There's more to life than just what you can see immediately in your bubble. Just look around. Without distractions. Nothing lasts forever. And even darkness will turn to light.
It was a moment of surrender.

Enchanting Serafina had her puppies. She had three girls. They are all thriving. She is a good mom. And I've been working with them as I always do. I do the ENS (early neurological stimulation) exercises with each puppy, every day to make sure they have the best chance at being healthy, and smart, and used to sensory touches from practically birth. They are already so calm when I pick them up. Their mamma gets "hand fed" - the only way she will eat. Can you say "spoiled" ? 😆But she is my princess and can have anything she wants 👑
