Purchase Agreement

Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our puppies! We hope to make this an enjoyable and happy experience for you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns about your puppy at anytime. We offer lifetime support!!

1. Please read the health guarantee completely before putting down a deposit on one of our puppies. By putting a deposit on a puppy you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of this contract.

2. We require a $300 deposit in order to hold the puppy of your choice.


3. This deposit is non-refundable, unless there is a problem and something unforeseen happens to your puppy while in our care. In that case the buyer will have their choice of a full refund or transferring that deposit toward another puppy.

4. If for some reason buyer decides not to get puppy ( changes mind, financial situation changes, etc) deposit is still non-refundable.

** Please be certain that you are prepared for the commitment and financial responsibility of a puppy prior to putting a deposit on one **

The puppy will be ready to go home at 8 weeks of age. If a puppy isn’t picked up by 8 weeks of age there will be an additional charge of $5 a day for every day after that point. If puppy isn’t picked up by 9 weeks of age, another shot will be administered and this is an additional charge of $20.

2. Your puppy is guaranteed to be in a good health at the time of sale.

3. Your puppy will be up to date on shots and worming at time of pick up. It is very important to continue with your puppy’s vaccination/worming schedule. Please do not expose your puppy to other puppies/dogs that have not been fully vaccinated. Your puppy isn’t fully protected until it has received all 4 puppy shots at around 15-20 weeks of age.

4. Buyer must have puppy examined by a licensed vet at their own expense within 72hrs of receiving puppy. Documentation must be sent to breeder for health guarantee to be honored.

5. If within 72hrs a licensed vet finds puppy to be unhealthy or unfit for sale, the puppy will be returned to Breeder for a full refund-provided that the puppy hasn’t been injured or neglected. The vet must provide a written statement deeming the puppy “unhealthy”. Breeder reserves the right to have puppy examined by our vet at our own expense for a 2nd opinion.

6. This guarantee does not include health issues caused by neglect or injury from the buyer, minor illness such as colds, allergies, internal parasites or umbilical hernias, mites or fleas. Dewclaw removal is a optional procedure and not covered by the breeder if owner decides to do the removal it will be at their own expense. However the breeder will disclose any known illness or health concerns with buyer prior to deposit being placed or final sale.

7. The breeder cannot assume responsibility for this puppy after 72 hrs of the sale; it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure proper care and safety for puppy.

8. Breeder doesn’t assume responsibility for training difficulties or behavior problems puppy may develop

9. Breeder does not guarantee size of dog at adulthood, but will give you the closest estimate one can offer based off size of parents. Food, diet, exercise, age, and metabolism of each animal are different and have a direct impact on the adult “maintenance” weight. Seller states that said puppy is bred from 2 dogs that both qualify as Standard or Miniature Dachshunds (which ever you purchased from which stated parents standards) OR 1 mini parent, and 1 standard parent. Seller will try and give you an IDEA of the size of the puppy based from experience in past litters. Nor does breeder guarantee fertility, or ability to place in shows. Breeder does not guarantee the color or pattern of said puppy, we can only give you our best opinion and knowledge. Some puppies change with time, and age. We do promise to give you the most accurate description from previous experiences.

10. Breeder provides a 1 yr health guarantee against congenital defects affecting heart, lungs, kidneys and other organs, if this is to occur buyer must return puppy and breeder will replace puppy of the same breed and value when one becomes available. This excludes diseases or breed prone problems. Some things that can occur can’t be gene tested, so if a dog is a carrier can’t be known. Some things that can be breed prone are IVDD, Perthes Disease , cda, Patellar Luxation and Hip Dysplasia.

11. Buyer agrees that if for any reason they are unable to keep the puppy, they will return the puppy and not place the puppy in another home unless breeder has given permission to do so. No refund will be given.

Miss Skittles, myself and my kiddos went on a little (accidentally LONG) hike the other day to see Jack Rock Falls, near the Obed Wild and Scenic River. Jack Rock Falls ended up being Jack Rock Drizzle…. The water was way too low, so there wasn’t enough flowing water to cause the waterfall. 😔 We still had a FANTASTIC time enjoying each other’s company and nature! Skittles is an amazing hiker and didn’t let her little legs slow her down! 🩷
