With the recent temperatures we’ve been experiencing, it wouldn’t take long for a dog to experience heat stress or even heat stroke.
Make sure your dog’s living conditions are proper and pay attention to your dog’s condition frequently if they are outside. Adequate shade and air flow and especially water are all very important to avoid an emergency situation. Make sure you are aware of the proper steps in a heat related emergency.
Please don't share potentially misleading and downright DANGEROUS info like this!!!
(I'm shouting, yes 🤣🫠🫣)
If a dog (or other animal!) is suffering because of heat exposure and heat related illness....
YOU MUST COOL THEM AND COLD WATER WORKS!
COOL FIRST.🧊

This handsome young man's name is Bruin and he's an eleven month old English Mastiff. Bruin already had a good idea when it came to obedience but he had learned that his owner needed to be present to maintain the command given. Bruin being an intact 11 month old caused him to get excited and jumpy around new people and trust me having an 11 month English Mastiff jumping on you isn't pleasant. Now Bruin understands his commands and is very happy holding them.
Big shout out to my newest top fans! 💎

Beautiful Charolette is such a good girl! She’s been having a great time boarding with us while her people are on their vacay. ❤️😊
This handsome fella is Gunner. His family already has a wonderful start with him. They are here for vacation and decided to let him stay with us so we could continue on with what they’ve started.
Hey you!!! It’s dinner time!! 😂 ❤️
13 month old Penny completed her advanced lessons The Bridge Coffee House showing everyone how it’s done! With all the actives going on around her, she did what she was taught to do and that’s to listen to her people and ignore all else. Penny soon will continue on to do therapy work with kids. Great job! And a huge thanks to The Bridge Coffee House for allowing us to hold our graduation class there.
*note - only real service dogs are permitted inside. They offer a wonderful shaded patio for our pet dogs.
Class two of our advanced obedience.... This young Giant Schnauzer named Velma showed her owners the results of their dedication to her training... If this level of obedience is what you desire for your best little buddy give us a call and we will show you how.
Eight month old Abbe is sooo cute. She’s a good girl already but her family needs some help with bringing order to the typical puppy behaviors.
Adorable Raina found herself the big prize during puppy class today. ❤️
Happy Father’s Day to ALL the dads!!
This beautiful lab is Coco. Her people are on vacation so she’s staying with us to do a little training. She is just the sweetest girl.
Check out this video. It’s a great example of a use of the place command. Her only job is to stay put. She can do whatever else she wants as long as she stays there Remember, training takes continued practice and only you can make your dog do these things for you.

This young lady's name is Velma and she is a two year old Giant Schnauzer. Today she started her first class in our advanced obedience package. She's came along way from just doing a place at the park. With dedication to the training her owners have taught her to be confident and obedient when out in public. The sky is the absolute limit for this young lady and hats off to her owners.
This cute little Yorkie is Willow. She’s about to start the journey to learn how to be the best little doggie ever.
This handsome young man's name is Bandit and he is a 9 month old Belgian Malinios. Bandit is the perfect example of his breed. He is extremely energetic and very prey and impulse reactive. This means Bandit was known for giving chase to anything or anyone that moved too quickly and was also known to nip for not only playful behavior but also dominance. Today Bandit was introduced to the ecollar for the first time and with a balance of positivity ( praising and food) combined with negativity and silence he figures out the command and it's meaning on his own... Stay tuned for his progress.
🌸Luna🌸 on vacation while her mom and dad are on theirs. We love her!
The beautiful Waylon is enjoying a great day at the park.
Arlo trying very hard to stay still long enough for a quick pic. But soon, he’ll be learning how to hold those sits, stay, and so much more as he is joining us for his basic obedience lessons.
Just another adorable “action” shot. ❤️🐾
Little miss Bella, enjoying the shade yesterday while boarding with us!🌟
Check out Charlie holding a great sit/stay! (And don’t worry, there was no mowing going on)

Banjo showing off during a refresher lesson. 😊
Hello everyone. Due to a variety of circumstances, we have a new policy in place regarding boarding. Effective immediately, a deposit of half of the boarding fee will be due upon scheduling your boarding dates. This is nonrefundable. The remaining half is due on the date of pick up.
Also to refresh, boarding is $35 a night for one dog $30 a night for each additional dog. For afternoon pick ups, there is a day charge of $30.
Please make sure you bring updated shot records, and enough food for their stay.
Thank you for your help with this matter. And as always, we appreciate you all.
Please feel free to reach out if there are any questions.
(if you are already on the schedule, you are grandfathered in. This policy is an effect for any new reservations.)
This cuteness is Rambo. He’s hanging out with us for the week, just having a great time. We love the sugar face!!

15 weeks old Major learning to trust the command and how to establish a working relationship. Why not spend the time creating a relationship built on trust and positivity before showering your new puppy with nonstop affection and teach very bad habits that you will pay someone later to stop🤷 Give us a call and we will show you how. #rockytopk9 #knoxvilledogtrainer #tndogtrainer #dogobediencetraining #dogtraining #akcstarpuppy #dogobedience #puppy #sevierville
I apologize for its length but edited videos aren't our thing.. This is young Major who is only 15 weeks old and is enrolled in our puppy program. Major is being taught that to focus on me the handler and not the things going on around him. I'm marking his behavior with a clicker before giving the reward. Watch in real time how he figures out how to get more treats. At no time do I instruct him to do anything.. This method teaches the dog that it can manipulate its surroundings in a way that's positive for him and his owner and that's by focusing on the handler and nothing else.. #rockytopk9 #knoxvilledogtrainer #tndogtrainer #dogobediencetraining #dogtraining #dogobedience #sevierville #puppy #gsdpuppy
Very proud of this sweet girl and her mama for finishing out their basic classes! 🌸
Being seen as the leader must start at a young age... Plus it's kinda cute to watch... Little Major learning from the best assistant.... #rockytopk9
Archie enjoying an evening on the town with his owners... If only humans could be so obedient or respectful.... P. S. This young man's name is Archie and he is an 8 month old Australian shepherd. Archie started training with us way back when he was only 10 weeks old. From the very beginning of his training there was an emphasis on interaction between him and his owners. He learned that his actions alone caused a negative reaction but his obedience caused a positive reaction... This can't be explained any other way than what you're seeing in this video. Archie was given a command and even an unsupervised child can't get him to break what his owner instructed him to do..... If this level of obedience is what you're looking for give us a call and we will show you how... Also if you're a parent that allows your child to be a nuisance, I will happily put your child in check.... #rockytopk9 #knoxvilledogtrainer #tndogtrainer #dogobediencetraining #DogTraining #dogobedience #akcstarpuppy #sevierville #australianshepherd

This gorgeous young doodles name is Harley and she's about a year old. Harley's owner is a youth baseball coach and his dream is to have his little buddy Hartley with him during the games and to also be the team's mascot. Well as you imagine the craziness of being surrounded by screaming 8 year old children trying to learn the game of baseball the "place" command will be crucial to Harley's owner. This command teaches her that she can't be involved with what's going on, her job is to remain on that place. #rockytopk9 #dogtraining #dogtrainer #sevierville #jeffersoncountydogtrainer #dandridgedogtrainer #knoxvilledogtrainer #dogboardandtrain #tndogtrainer #dogobediencetraining
This one year old doodles name is Darla and today she showed her owner that all her hard work has paid off. Darla understands what her role within the pack is and is very happy to oblige when told to do so. If this level of obedience is what you're looking for don't be fooled by other facilities. We spend the hours required to teach you how to communicate with your dog with or without the use of restrictive devices. Other places can only tell you to push the button... This 2 year old terrier mix is named Jazmin. Today for the first time she got to tag along with the family on an adventure! Jazmin's owners love her very much and have always wished she could come with them and today she showed them that she has the ability to do anything they ask. Jazmin now understands her role within the pack and is very happy with the commands given to her. Trainer Scottie Greene
EOD Explosives Detection K9 Handler
14 Year Duel Purpose Police K9 Handler
Head K9 Trainer JBO Police Department Jonesborough TN
Head K9 Trainer Greene County Sheriff's Department
As many of you already know me but some of you might not; my name is Scottie Greene. My passion for well over 30 years has been furthering my education and knowledge on communicating with dogs. Growing up I can't think of one moment that didn't include a dog of some type. I remember when I was 10 years old and competed in my very first dog obedience trial. His name was Rusty a Rottweiler and he was nearly as big as me. After taking home first place, I was hooked.
After serving my country abroad I returned home with the dream of working with dogs full time. I used my GI bill to search out and attend as many K9 seminars I possibly could. I also attended the Tennessee Police academy out of my own pocket to fulfill my dream of being a police K9 Officer. I was hired as a K9 Officer in Jonesborough TN and handed my first partner K9 Rio. After 7 years I left Jonesborough police department after K9 Rio retired and started in the private sector. I have contracted with top-notch cutting-edge companies whose mission is to fight terrorism globally. Along with contracts working alongside FEMA during national disasters.
After working the private sector for three years, I found myself back in Law Enforcement and K9. I was hired by the Greene County Sheriff's Department to start up their new K9 division. I am very happy to say that all four dogs trained solely by me were rescues pulled from pounds all over the country and passed all certifications with NADDA as dual-purpose police K9s.
I left law enforcement after getting married and moved to Seymour TN and started working for a company that trains dogs. In my time with that company I trained and maintained over 100 board and trains without a single issue from any clients. I also taught classes using my style of training at Sevierville city park. After an incident happened that painted that company in a bad light I decided it was time to break away and teach my way.
I have reconnected with my passion of training obedience. I'm not just a dog trainer who works with the dog. I'm a "People" trainer and my job is to train you how to train YOUR dog. I am proficient in the use of all training aids. I have been trained in the use of both Positive and Balanced methods. I will not try and make you "like" one form over another. I will explain the ups and downs of using both and let you decide.
Trainer: Sandra Sudduth A little bit about me and the story behind the idea of our Dog Club. Those that know me understand how much I love dogs (well, all animals really) and how I love to be active with fitness and outdoor activities. I can hardly remember a time that I haven’t had a dog by my side. I’ve had many different breeds including rottweilers, dobermans, lab/pit mix, a weimaraner, blue healers, hound dogs, a husky, plus mutts of various flavors. Basically, I have spent the most part of my life training my own dogs. After I met Scottie last year, and as I learned new things from him, I started taking the training to more advanced levels with broader activities with my two dogs; sharing my training skills with my friends & family. I quickly discovered how much I loved training and I made it a habit to continually learn more from Scottie and other trainers, soaking in new methods. Our lives are more enriched because of it too. With the obedience and respect my pups have for me and the trust we have with each other, our lives together are simply amazing. We have freedom. I don’t have to leave my dogs behind at home, I can confidently take them with me, we can do things together. I constantly look for new things for us to do together such as a find a cool store to go in, a new trail to hike, a new river to play in, or a new 5K to enter. During our travels, I am always complemented on how well my dogs behave am asked if I am a trainer – could I help them with their pets. The seed was being planted and I started thinking that training could be my next career. My career has been in Business Management. It’s been a great ride, but I’ve been looking to make a change – to do something that I feel passionate about. A few years ago, I became a Ski Instructor and then a Ski Patroller. From this, I learned another new passion. Both in the sport itself and in teaching others & sharing the positive energy the sport can bring. But of course, this is only a seasonal privilege. Aside from my addition of skiing and boarding, I have been into fitness just about my whole life in one sport or another. It could be riding my bike, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, running, fishing, or whatever. In general, I thrive on being able to be outdoors and it’s even better when I can include my dogs. So, what does a love of animals, a desire for a meaningful career, a love of fitness, and the gift of teaching have to do with one another and how does it relate to dog training? The vision is to put these passions together, to add on to the initial obedience training. By forming our Dog Club, this program not only benefits the dogs but also us people. It’s a great way to keep both our K9 friends and ourselves in good physical shape (or get us IN shape.) It’s also a great way to allow us the opportunity to keep the dogs socialized and to get us involved with one another as a community – our own dog loving community. In addition to all these benefits, it brings opportunity to provide refresher obedience tips if needed. It’s an on-going training support system along with being an ongoing social network Scottie, Karrie, and I had talked on several occasions about starting a dog training company to where we could have the freedom to train our way – based on the individual client need & to make it personal. With the way we met, and the way things came together, I feel it was our destiny to do this. And now here we are, that’s the way things came together. This is not something that I’m doing because I need to, it’s because I love the training, love the results, and want to share it with others.
Trainer Karrie Greene (as written by Scottie Greene) This beautiful gift from God is my wife Karrie Greene. Six years ago when we meet Karrie was totally new to the dog world. She expressed to me that she wanted to learn how to train dogs just like me. I remember telling her that a person should never learn how to do something just like someone else. I told her I would show her the ropes but her style would be her style and that's how she would grow as a trainer. Karrie is five years into her journey as a trainer and many of the likes on this page comes from her following. She doesn't ride on my coattails and isn't know as the "trainers wife". She is known as an outstanding trainer and has helped many families with their pet. Being a single mother of two along with being a grandmother she has patience and calmness of a stone cold military operator! It's this ability that makes Karrie an outstanding trainer.
