Bather / Groomer in Training Position:

As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for:
Properly prepare, bathe and finish pets by using humane practices and minimizing pet stress.
Foster relationships with customers and their pets
Provide services to include: bathing, drying, trimming nails, ear/eye cleaning for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
Prepare dogs for grooming by following standard bathing, drying, and brushing procedures.
Disinfecting and washing tubs, kennel banks and all services and making sure they are ready for the next day’s use before shift’s end.
Employ the use of verbal and non-verbal techniques to keep the pets calm and ensure a great experience.
Provide a positive experience for pets and their owners *Working with the owner to efficiently complete tasks when helping customers and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Provide the groomer with support as needed and gain valuable experience at the same time!
BeCharmed Grooming Salon is looking for someone who:
Loves dogs and cats!
Is reliable and punctual.
Holds a genuine and sincere interest in pets’ individual needs
Is willing to learn
Is able to stand on your feet for long periods of time
Has great communication skills

We are a family owned and operated grooming salon located in Kutztown, PA. We offer a package for every need. Nails, Ears, Cologne & a Bandana are included with all of our Dog Packages.
Cat grooming is our specialty-we have been grooming and showing our British Shorthair & Selkirk Rex cats for over 12 years! We have outfitted our shop with brand new top of the line equipment for your pet's safety and comfort! We have a Flying Pig 62" stainless steel tub to accommodate pets of all sizes and a deshedding bathing system. We use luxurious Chris Christensen, Best Shot and iGroom products to maintain the integrity of your pet's coat.
