Wasted the last 30 min of my life reading a very snarky and ugly post of someone ripping an adult amateur rider apart. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Look -

The majority of riders are out there doing this sport for fun. They like local and regional showing, but do it as a fun hobby!

Stop judging them and picking them apart. Nasty & snotty opinions are not asked for nor needed.

Ugly side line gossip needs to end.

For the love of the horse industry, mind your own business and leave people alone

Any breed stock we own is always tested for genetics complications such as Warmblood Fragile Foal Syndrome and Polysaccharide Storage Myopathy, as well as other things. With the availability of these testings, I don't understand why more breeders do not use these to ensure ethical breeding and healthy longevity in their farm offspring
Additionally, as a buyer you can pull hair and have their tests run yourself.

I've attached a copy for test results and you can see all the options they offer.

Also - This was a while back and the testing center offers more tests than than they did then.

Hopefully we won't have a week of this white silly stuff but just a reminder

- start electrolytes now before the serious cold sets in

- older horses can be teeth sensitive to cold (as humans can be). A little warm water in their grain will make them thankful, plus put some fluid in their gut.

- double your hay feedings, they will need and eat more to help stay warm.

- If you have an extra water tank, take it out and fill it, in case pipes freeze, bust, etc- and you can't get water.

- And breath, this silly weather will be over in a day or two and we will be back to typical Texas winters of sunny and 85 degrees.

- I actually have a little sunburn from being outside yesterday with the horses 🙄🙄
