**LIVE ANIMAL SHIPMENT COMING FRIDAY***

It's been a while since I put in a good live animal order, so I will get one on Friday. I have pac man frogs, bearded dragons, crested geckos and a couple more snakes coming in. (Spoiler alert: I ordered a hognose)

But don't forget, we have several adoptable animals available in the shop as well.

-2 guinea pigs
-1 gerbil

We are still stocked up on feeders, substrate and lights as well, so it's a terrific weekend to come see the new shop. 😁 see you there!!

THEY GOT ADOPTED!!

These girls have been here way too long. They actually got surrendered while I was in my old shop, as you can see, and they have been patiently waiting for their new home. Georgia and Peach are a bonded pair of Holland lop sisters, and they are very sweet. Come meet them today from 4 to 7 at the new location, 1423 Adam's Ave.

Just a reminder, we are stocked up on feeders, substrate and lights as well.
And we still have many for sale and adoptable animals in the shop besides them. 😁

OK folks. The moment you have been waiting for.
We're on the homestretch for reopening.

I am here to say, Savage Serpents is officially reopening one week from now, on Tuesday November 26th. 1423 Adams Ave. My store phone number also changed, and has been updated on Google.

The new hours will be 4-7 Tuesday through Saturday.
I understand these are short hours, and they are certainly subject to change, but for the time being, that's what works for me, as I am running the shop myself again.

That being said, if these times don't work for you, just reach out, it's completely possible to schedule an appointment outside of regular business hours!

There are going to be some changes to how the shop works though. Technically I am considering this move part of a 3 part renovation project.

The storefront portion will be what is open next week, we will have ALL of our feeders back, substrates, lights, and heat mats, I'm also still purging a lot of stuff ive accumulated over the last couple years hardgoods wise, so come by for some incredible deals on some used inventory. I also have several animals available for adoption currently.

I am not setting up my fish department quite yet, I will only have a couple tanks setup for surrenders and local stuff. I will keep everyone posted on the aquatics expansion, it will be bigger and better than ever once we're done though.

Zoo nights will come back as well, but the third part of the expansion is, you guessed it, the zoo. The thing is, I want to build out a truly beautiful zoo facility. But, like the fish tanks, I really want to take my time, and do this right, so I can give this community an educational outreach center it deserves. So the zoo and aquatics section will be sectioned off until the visions are accomplished.

But no worries, you can still stop by and say hi to all of your favorite ambassador animals in the meantime. 😁

Flash Tank Sale

So I suppose it's time for the biggest announcement we have ever had.

WE. ARE. MOVING!!

1423 Adams ave, aka the old Baxters Auto Parts Storefront. It finally happened!

So there are a lot of logistics to work out with this, but here's what we know so far:

This Saturday, and September 21st will be the last zoo Nights that we have for a while, but we will bring them back asap.

We will be moving to limited hours at the beginning of October, but will be open a couple days a week to be able to take in/rehome surrenders, sell feeders, etc. In the meantime we are having a clearance sale on enclosures, cages, and stuff in general to help lighten the load for moving.

When we make this transition, we will still be available by appointment as well, so never be shy about reaching out on the page.

Also, birthday parties/shows will still be available throughout all of this.

When we move, priority #1 will be getting the non-profit going, so this will be the functional home of both Savage Serpents, and Eastern Oregon Exotic Animal Rescue.

And don't worry, when we have our TBA grand opening in the new place, we will have fish back, and set up in a newer, healthier, and easier to maintain setup.

We are so appreciative of the many, many people that have helped this storefront along throughout the 2 1/2 years we have been on this journey. We love you guys!!

Lastly, If you wish to support us in this endeavor, donations of any kind can be made at the shop. (This can even mean the old hamster cage or fish tank you have in your garage)

Now, it's time to build this town a proper educational outreach facility.

13 tanks (more than we have ever had) up and cycling, we have tirelessly been filling tanks, doing water changes, testing the water, scraping algae, and cleaning up our tanks in anticipation of our upcoming fish shipments. I know many of have been eagerly awaiting our next fish order. We appreciate your patience, and the wait is very nearly over, stay tuned!
