It’s been a rough week. I just have to say I have the very best customers! My youngest baby, Timber, has been battling this horrible rash and we’ve been to her P*P then to the ER and had allergy testing but also a positive strep test. I just want to say how thankful I am to have clients that didn’t skip a beat in telling me to take care of my baby girl and to reschedule when I could. I really hate having to do that to anyone but I’m glad I can and have wonderful people willing to work with me ❤️ thank you to those that have heard about her and have prayed for her. Hopefully we are on the mend!

A lot has been going on at Dapper Dogs Mobile Grooming! What should’ve been a simple deep clean turned into a COMPLETE revamp! We gutted the trailer and put in all new floors and walls! I even got to do a little change up in the layout 🥳 Y’all will notice me in my husband’s truck this week, possibly next until my truck is back on the road. Ol girl is having a little problem 😔

I have already started sending out more information through texts as I book clients’ next appointments, but just so it’s here as well, we will be implementing a slight price increase over the summer time. Unfortunately, with the cost of living rising, so is the cost of my expenses for tools and supplies 😔 after your upcoming appointment I’ll be sending the usual text for your NEXT appointment along with the new price for your pup! I hope everyone is understanding and we can all continue our wonderful relationships ❤️🐾

If you’ve tried reaching me the last week, I’ve been out cruising! A little dog groomer vacay with my mother in law (owns and operates Bay Area Pretty Pets) and my sister in law (owns and operates Little Red Waggin’)as well as my brother in law, his fiancé and one of our closest friends. We got to go to Cozumel and it was so beautiful! Definitely recommend! headed home to see my family and get rested up and ready to get back to work! I’ll return messages this evening!

Merry Christmas from my family to yours! hope everyone is staying cozy in this cold weather! ❄️

I will be out of reach from now to next Saturday spending the rest of 2023 with my family, taking care of some things I need to do for myself (like getting my own hair cut 😂) and taking a much needed little break! I will return messages on Sunday 1/1 and be back to work 1/2! I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year 🎇

How is it already December?! 2022 is booked! I will be taking a much needed little “staycation” the week after Christmas, spending time with my kiddos and maybe even getting around to deshedding my own dogs 😂🙌🏻
I hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays and I look forward to getting everyone’s babies looking their best for the festivities 🎄

Stay tuned for some news for 2023 👀 as we will be implementing a few changes BUT in the meantime enjoy sweet Harley after his spa day today 😍

A bittersweet moment for me, but I’d like to wish Codie good luck as she starts her new job this week at Deer Park Animal Hospital!

I posted an ad on Facebook just over two years ago looking for help and Codie sent me a message not long after. I told her she had to love dogs, dog hair and cleaning it, being stuck in a small space with a stranger, willing to listen to any type of music at any given time, and like riding shotgun. She took it all in strive and has been stuck with me for two years! In that time she became more than just an employee, or even a friend… she became family. We barrel race together, my girls and her niece are friends and her mom even cuts my youngest daughter’s hair ❤️ I will miss her very much but I know she’s on to bigger and better things!

It no surprise this heat is something else. Today my generator was on the struggle bus but my best friend just happened to be up the road and finished for the day so I called her up! She met me and picked me and my tools up and we went to groom my last dog of the day. We are not competition, we are allies ❤️ and we will always be there to support and uplift each other! Little Sophie normally keeps a fluffy tail and ears. Today mom wanted shorter ears, tail, and brows! We always keep her legs short with no skirt because Sophie is a wild child 😂 we think she turned out pretty cute 🥰

I wanted to introduce myself and put a face to the name! My name is Heather and I am so excited to start this new journey! It’s very nerve wracking dropping a 9-5 consistent job, but this dream won’t chase itself! I went to school for dog grooming at the Golden Paws Grooming School in Houston back in 2013. After grooming for a couple of years I stepped back to build a family and am now venturing out in the mobile world of grooming! I can’t say how much I appreciate the local support already and can’t wait to start building relationships with new and returning clients! These are the faces of two happy little girls that are ready for spring break!! I will be off from Saturday March 12 until Sunday March 20 for my very first vacation time! The girls are just as excited to sleep in as I am 🥰 I will check my phone occasionally but will be spending my time with my family.

Our family promptly fell asleep at 9 pm last night then got up this morning to celebrate by taking the kids on a ride!

We are so excited to see what the new year will bring to our business and our family! We are so blessed to have accomplished as much as we have in such a short time. Thank you all for your support.
