🥳📣UPDATE📣🥳

SHE HAS BEEN FOUND!!! A kind airport employee saw her running in the airport garage on his way to his car at the end of shift and managed to grab her leash! She is now safe and with a foster from Jindo Love Rescue. 🐶🙏🏼🥰

THANK YOU to everyone who helped us canvas and search tirelessly, and everyone who shared, prayed and hoped for her safe recovery!

🚨EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE NEEDED - SEATTLE FRIENDS, FAMILY and FOLLOWERS 🚨

Good morning Seattle friends, family and followers. We have an emergency situation and are seeking immediate assistance. One of our lovely dogs have gone missing at Seattle Tacoma International Airport as of 8/24/24 around 7:00pm (PST). She was about to be loaded in the car on the second floor parking garage and jumped out of her crate and ran. She was flying from Arizona to Seattle and was to be fostered in Seattle and is now lost in the airport parking garage.

She is wearing her pink harness and dragging a black leash.

She is about 13-17 lbs extremely skiddish and very scared of noises and people. She tends to hide in small spaces and will not come out even for food. We had a few JLR adopters out canvassing the parking garage last night and today but have not had any luck. She could be hiding anywhere, she could have been taken or she could have ran out of the airport and in the streets somewhere.

She has no bond to anyone in Seattle so she is very lost and confused right now. She will not respond to her name or anyone shouting or running after her. That will only draw her farther away. So if seen please just take a picture and share with us.
DO NOT CHASE! DO NOT CALL OUT! DO NOT APPROACH!

We are asking for assistance with a few things as this is a time sensitive event.

Mommy to Kurumi and Melody and gentle friend to all the furry littles and humans at the foster facility 🥰.
Pikachu is super sweet and an all around social gal! She loves all dogs and people and has wiggled her way into many hearts! She is curious, easy going and enjoys taking in all the good things In life 🥰. You will always find her smiling with a trail of little ones happily trotting behind her. She loves to greet all the volunteers and check on all the babies playing. She is an excellent companion and where you go, she would absolutely love to go too.

This adorable boy defines sweetness. He is gentle, kind, calm, compassionate and so warm and loving.

He was rescued in February with his mom Pikachu and sister Kurumi. Melody is a mommas boy and momma loves him so much too! Kurumi now lives in a wonderful furever home and we are hoping Melody will soon too!

Melody’s days consist of happy tail wags, snout nuzzles, pets and kisses and being in the company of his friends and of course his mom!
His eyes are full of gratefulness and his soul is beaming with gratitude and love. The family that adopts this sweet boy will be very lucky to have all that light that he carries inside 🥹.

Our soft and shaggy snuggle teddy Viper is still patiently waiting for a furever home 😔. She is a small package carrying a large heart full of love and affection. She adores humans and looks forward everyday to greet them, sit on their laps and give them kisses. She is an excellent lap dog and travel companion. An extremely easy going girl.
Wherever you go she would love to go with you, making anywhere you go full of love.

She enjoys the company of her friends and follows them wherever they go too, especially her brother Hummer.
She has such a sweet, warm, gentle, calming demeanor and just wants a family of her own. The volunteers aren’t always around and there are more dogs than humans so the attention she craves never fully gets filled 😭.

With a furever family that means she will get furever love, pets and attention. It’s everything she has been wishing for and we hope that one day soon we can grant that wish for her. She will gladly return all that love back.

Sweet souled Plum has been with our rescue since May of 2022. He was rescued with his sister Peach at the kill shelter. He is a shy, gentle boy who has always stayed out of trouble, watched the world go by and stuck close to small dogs and puppies. He is reserved and quiet and has a very calm demeanor. He does great on leash and loves his walks. He is submissive and has a special heart that is looking for a special family to open it up. Once he does open up his heart, it will be the most rewarding filling experience the lucky family will have.

His sister Peach is adopted with an amazing family and we are hoping this post finds an amazing family for Plum too 🙏🏽.

Fuzzy big bear Lance has been with us for over 5 years. He was rescued on the same slaughter truck as Harry and there’s just something really special about these dogs 🥹. Despite the trauma they experience their hope and gratefulness just radiates in their eyes and soul and it’s a constant reminder of how strong and courageous these dogs really are.

Lance is a gentle boy who throughly enjoys his walks. He loves taking in nature, hikes and breathing in the beauty around him. He has a deep appreciation for the things we tend to take for granted. He does great with all dogs and is a true foodie! Loves all snacks and treats 🥰. Lance loves head massages and story time. He is a great pup to have for forever company! He is happy spending time with humans and would be even happier if those humans were his furever family 🥹.
Lance is an easy going guy who just wants a place to call home. A place to relax, take in all the views and be loved how he has always deserved.
See Lance is already seven. 7 years without a furever mommy or daddy. We want nothing more to change that for Lance and we would love for him to finally have a special life with a furever family. Our dancing, snuggle bug queen Lilia is still smiling but we know inside she is feeling discouraged and lonely. It has been 2 years and 4 months since she was rescued after all her babies died at the kill shelter. 2 years and 4 months waiting patiently for a furever home watching everyone around her get adopted, and disappear. She knows they are going somewhere full of love and care and we wish that someone out there would notice her after all these years, and give her the love and care she desperately seeks 😔.

Lilia is amazing with people. She loves them! Like absolutely loves them! She does this adorable dance when she sees them! She is not shy and loves saying hi to strangers and her human friends. Her sweetness is so warm and heart filling.
She loves being pet, loves affection, loves greeting and following all humans around. Overall, she just loves being in human company.
Lilia is also great with all dogs.
She is very relaxed, gentle, calm and docile. A delicate sweetheart.
Lilia is an excellent companion. She will sit with you during every sunrise and sunset, lay with you in bed, greet you every day and every morning, take care of you when you’re sick, join you for every car ride, smile with you on family adventures and most of all she will love you whole heartily.

We are shocked no one has noticed her or even applied. We are hoping and wishing this year will be her year and someone out there is looking for a wonderful, beautiful souled, precious girl.

🐶 AURORA 🌼

Aurora is the mom of the famous 4 looney tunes bunch, Daffy, Babs, Bugs & Taz! All of whom have been adopted! Taz is still waiting for his courier to go home and in the meantime spending his last days with his mom 🥰. We are hoping this post finds Aurora her furever family so she too can head to her furever home shorty after Taz! It would break our hearts if she was left behind feeling lonely and sad watching all her children go.

Aurora was rescued from the Miryang Dog Meat Farm. When the owner found out she was pregnant he tied her up on a short chain and kept her outside to battle all weather conditions. She barely had any food or water.
We rescued her in time before birth and she raised amazing children right here in our foster facility. All of her babies have wonderful loving personalities just like her 🥰.

Aurora can be on the shy side and takes a little bit to warm up which is to be expected, but once she does she is your loyal companion and magnet 🥹. She is a delicate beauty who has a very nurturing, gentle heart and anyone that adopts her will be very lucky to have her as a family member. Moms often get overlooked by puppies and small dogs so please share her post far and wide and help us find the loving family she has always deserved!

🎇 PSA 🧨 FIREWORK SAFETY

HERE ARE SOME TIPS ON HOW TO KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE…

1) 🏠 Stay inside: Try to keep your pet indoors at all times during holiday celebrations. Ideally, someone stays home with your pet. Do not bring your pets to your 4th of July celebrations! Also keep your dog leashed when going out for walks or even in your secured fenced in backyard. Walk your dog before dark and never force your dog to go outside. Close all doors, windows, garages, anywhere where they maybe able to slip out.

2) ⛺️🧸 Make them feel safe: Comfort your pets with petting, hugging, talking to them in a soothing voice, providing a treat and staying nearby if possible. Prepare Frozen kongs or special bones to distract them. Make sure they can access their crate or “safe place.” Build them a tent or a “ den “ .

3) 🙉 Avoid the noise. Try to drown out the fireworks sounds as much as possible by closing windows, playing music, turning on the TV, using a sound machine, running the air condition and fans.

4) 🧘 Act normal! Your pet takes cues from your and your family’s actions. It will help if you go about your normal routine as much as possible, talking and playing with your pet as usual.

5) 🖱️Protect your pet before the fireworks begin. There are a number of lost-pet devices and services
available today, and it’s wise to be proactive in case your pet gets lost.

🚨CHARGE ALL YOUR FI COLLARS AND DOG GPS DEVICES AND KEEP THEM ON!! Make sure your dogs are wearing all their up to date ID tags as well! Make sure the collars are all properly fitted and cannot slip off their head. (The rule of thumb says you should be able to get two fingers underneath the collar. )

👉 If you pet is not microchipped, we highly advise you to microchip your pet. ( Check with your community for free or low cost microchipping )

👉 If your pet is microchipped make sure it is registered and updated with your most current information.

📸 As an additional preventative measure, make sure you have a most recent clear picture of your pet incase they go missing.

TIPS ON HOW TO KEEP YOUR PETS SAFE DURING THIS 4th of JULY HOLIDAY 🙏🏽 ‼️

More pets reportedly go missing around the Fourth of July than any other time of the year.

Animal control officials across the country report a 30% increase in lost pets each year between July 4th and 6th. July 5th is one of the busiest days of the year for shelters.

According to nationwide statistics, sadly only 14% of lost pets are returned to their owners. Even worse, 30-60% of lost pets are euthanized because they cannot be properly identified and returned to their owners.

❗️Ask your veterinarian or local pet retailer about natural calming products, anxiety wraps and other products that can help. ⬇️

👉 CBD, Rescue remedy for pets, Thunderwunders calming chews, other brand calming chews, calming collars, snout calming ointment, calming wraps, thundervests, etc are all natural calming products that can be purchased on Amazon or local reatailers.**
📌 If your pet needs anxiety meds please call your vet for a prescription.

🙏🏽 If you need recommendations of natural products please don’t hesitate to message us.

🐶 DORY 💚

Dory with the one floppy ear, has been with us for 15 months. He was rescued from the Miryang dog meat farm with 29 of his friends and family members. Dory’s life started dark and scary but was changed the day we rescued him and promised him a better life. That promise does still stand for Dory but it’s taking a bit longer than we hoped. Dory would love to have a furever family of his own who can show him the compassion he has always deserved. A family that will care for him and treat him like a member rather than a piece of meat. A family that will take him places he is excited, about not a place he can smell fear. A family that will tell
him he is safe, adored and furever loved. A place to call home.

Dory is a gentle sweet boy. He is calm, perceptive and reserved. He can be a bit shy but that’s to be expected considering the trauma he has been through. Dory is a loyal, loving companion. He will bring a love that is special and pure in his new home.

Little Minky had quite the traumatic past before we were able to rescue her. She was abused all day, everyday for the first few years of her life and then abandoned and left for dead.
Our landlord found out about this horror story and went to search for her. He found little miracle Minky and she is happily in our care now. Despite the pain, suffering and agony she went through, she loves people. It never ceases to amaze us how these dogs can endure so much trauma yet still be able to open their heart to other humans. She is a very special girl.

Minky is a pint sized package of pure joy and smiles. She gets along great with furry friends and adores the volunteers. She is a beaming light in the foster facility and while it makes us sad to know what she went through, seeing her smile of hope and happiness gives us a sense of wonderful delight 🥹. We want Minky to have an amazing family full of love, kindness and warmth. A home where she will never ever feel fear of getting abused and tortured again. A home where she is part of a family and not portrayed as an item to discard. Minky deserves this and so much more and we know that family is out there for this special girl!

Powderpuff received hundreds of inquiries but very little follow through past “ I’m interested “ . Let’s just make something clear here. Dogs up for adoption are not marketplace items so please do not message unless you are actually interested in adopting. If you are interested please follow through with your messages and pre interview! So, Let’s try this again because this girl would really LOVE TO FIND A FUREVER HOME!

Powderpuff is fluffy, puffy and an all around happy go lucky girl! She is easy going, brings happiness to all the dogs and volunteers and her smile is contagious and adorable 🥰. She loves friends humans and furry, so a home with a dog sibling would be ideal for her as she loves the company!
She is sweet, affectionate, loving and such a joy to be around. Any family that adopts her will be very lucky and most certainly will have hearts exploding in powderpuff love!

We are searching for a miracle today for Harry, our gentle Teddy bear. His story goes back many years that he has now sadly lost and we are wishing really hard that with his remaining years, he has a place to call home.

Harry was part of the Buyeo dog meat truck rescue that took place on June 16th 2019. He was a dog meat truck dog. A dog that was crammed inside a rusty cage laying onto of his friends on his way to get tortured, abused and slaughtered. Words can do no justice for what we saw and heard. Please see the pics and videos of this horrible nightmare Harry and his friends were in.

We stopped the Truck and rescued Harry and his friends 5 years ago and Harry has been in boarding since. While he is safe with us, we want more for him. We want him to have a furever family, we want him to have a forever home. We want him to know what sleeping in a warm bed snuggled
With humans that adore him is like. We want him to go to the beach, enjoy cook outs with his family, meet more people, roll in the grass, go on hikes, nap in an orthopedic bed, enjoy burgers and steak. We want him to play with toys, run with friends, stick his head out of the window during car rides, wag his tail endlessly when he sees his people. We want it all for Harry because see Harry already spent 1/2 his life not knowing what these things are, and Harry deserves nothing but the best out there.

This is going to take a village because not many people want to adopt a dog over 5. But Harry isn’t just another dog, he’s a survivor with a golden heart. A heart that should be shared with the world. A heart searching for the same kind of hearts in a home. So let’s all share Harry’s post and spread the word. Gentle Teddy Bear Harry really wants to go home.
