It’s OFFICIAL the vet cleared me to return to camp!!! I am not 100% yet but I’m at least cancer free and my belly is healed!! Bring on the zoomies with my friends! Woof!!!

Pupdate: my wound is healing but slowly. The hooman is still on wound care duty.

I have a skin infection and bilateral ear infection so I’m on antibiotics and got some goo for my ears and an injection.

Not out of the woods yet but I’m getting better. ❤️‍🩹 Next check up Feb 13th.

Pupdate: rough day yesterday & night! Throwing up 🤮 and my hooman noticed some things during wound care this morning. I’m resting and she messaged the vet’s. They’ll get back to her tomorrow when they open. 🐾

Pupdate: my wound is doing well just slow healing. I’m officially off oral medicine and now just have topical medicine and daily wound care - next check up is in two weeks.

Pupdate: Today my check up went well. I can’t get any of my vaccines because I’m still healing but I’m ok with that.

Part of my wound is still open, and the hooman is on wound care duty still but the remaining sutures for the healed area were removed.

I’m still on medicine for the rest of the month. My lymphatic system is still out of sorts so still swollen in my paws and legs but I’m in good spirits.

Next follow up is Tuesday next week pending no emergencies this week.

Pupdate: My results are back. I had Breast Cancer. Good news is the vet got it all and there is No real evidence of lymphatic or blood vessel spread. My hooman will need to be vigilant & watchful because the cancer could come back.

My hooman is handling my open wound care at home until my next appointment. My little sister Olive is making sure to snuggle me tons. I’m not allowed to roam or visit my pony while I’m healing but hoping in a few more weeks I’ll be back to my old self.

Pupdate: my hooman has to focus on wound care. Twice a day. The vet said she can handle it. My wound is open and you can see the tissue & its still draining & it’s pretty gnarly so she won’t post a photo. I’m still on antibiotics medication & pain pills. My next check up is January 2nd.

Pupdate: 3am on the 26th my wound decided to open & create a murder scene. The hooman took care of the wound care & today I saw the vet to get it all taken care of. I’m on more medication & have another check in tomorrow. My mom got 5 ⭐️ for her wound care !!

Pupdate: had to go to the vets twice yesterday! My legs and paws are swelling & my fluid pocket shifted. My hooman has to massage my legs neck and chest a few times a day now. Should take 3-5 days for the leg swelling to stop. If it doesn’t I go back in next Wednesday.

My belly band is off but I still have a long road of healing ahead of me.

My surgery went well but I’m not out of the woods yet.

The surgeons noticed after my surgery that I was getting super swollen super fast. They contemplated opening me back up but I was under for so long they didn’t want to risk it. So they wrapped me in a belly band & I’m home resting. Tomorrow I go back in to be evaluated again.

My lumps they removed were sent out for testing & should know results in 2 weeks.

My hooman will keep you all pupdated on the next steps.
