My uncle passed away with family at his side on Monday. I am out of town and unavailable for pet care the next few days. I will be back in town Friday evening to return back to my pet-snuggling duties. 💕 Thank you all for the recent support and flexibility to allow me to spend time with him the past couple of weeks.

Important information regarding Microchips! 💜

Important safety announcement! We are hearing that Save This Life microchip company is out of business/not responding to calls, etc. (their page is gone). IF your pet's chip is from Save This Life, you need to immediately register the chip with a different company.

Locally, Wildcat Valley Animal Clinic has been using Save This Life, so if your pet was chipped at Wildcat, then you may need to re-register their chip. The below information is directly from Wildcat, and has information about what to do. Please share this information widely. With our thanks.

We want to ensure that our patients’ microchips are linked to a reliable and responsive registry so we are strongly encouraging you to contact another microchip company to register your pet. An internet search will give you a variety of companies to choose from. All companies will happily transfer your chip to their registry (24PetWatch, Home Again, etc.) However, some companies will charge a fee.

Companies that free are to enter your pet into their registry are:

If you aren’t sure of your pet’s microchip number, we will provide it to you if you email, text or call us. You can find it on our phone app as well. You can always bring them into either clinic to be scanned and get some treats and lovin’! No appointment is needed.

Thanks for the support, referrals, and trust with you furry/feathered/scaled/fluffy family members. I am officially closing my books to NEW clients at this time. I have a good size clientele, and have clients booked a whole year in advance. I am booked most of the next few months. To be fair to myself and clients, I have decided to limit adding new clients for the foreseeable future. This doesn’t mean that I won’t ever open them, but at this time, I am at capacity, and with my chronic illnesses, I do not want to add anymore on. To be able to provide the care you have grown to expect and that your pets deserve, and to allow my body a little rest time, I have to put some limits. I appreciate your support and understanding, as well as all the referrals and reviews that helped me gain such a wonderful client base! 💕
