💫 **Bonded Besties Looking for a Forever Home** 💫

Meet **Goddess** (black and white) and **Prawn** (apricot), two incredibly special girls who have come so far and are finally ready for their happy ending. 💕

These beautiful mamas were rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, but you’d never know it seeing them now. They’ve blossomed in foster care—spayed, vaccinated, and thriving.

✨ **Goddess** is confident and queenly—she walks into any room like she owns it (because she does).
✨ **Prawn** is still learning that people can be kind. She needs a little patience, a lot of love, and maybe a treat or two to help her feel safe.

These girls are **bonded** and must be adopted together. Goddess gives Prawn the confidence she needs to keep growing. They’re around 1 to 1.5 years old and looking for a calm, indoor home filled with love and routine.

They’ve survived the worst and are so ready for the best. Let’s get them the forever they deserve. 🏡

Barn cats! We currently have two pairs of barn cats looking for safe outdoor homes. Two vaccinated and spayed females (around 1.5 years old), and two vaccinated and neutered males (1 year old and 6 months old). They are all sweet and appreciate affection but prefer life outdoors. No adoption fees but we do ask that they be kenneled for a week as they adjust to their new location. Shoot us a message if interested :)

The truth is — the community has no idea. Most people only see the surface… just a tiny glimpse.
When I’m dealing with emergencies or critical cases, I shift into survival mode. I become someone else — calm, focused, determined. But through it all, I always try to stay PAWsitive and full of gratitude.
What most people don’t see is that the biggest organizations — with funding and major facilities — often push their hardest cases onto us because they know our capabilities and our hearts. And people assume that because we’ve had a few generous sponsors or collaborations, we must be fully funded.
The truth? We’ve received very limited actual funding, enough to expand. Most of our partnerships offer discounts — not dollars. And while we’re grateful for every bit of help, those don’t cover vet bills, surgeries, diagnostics, or the infrastructure we’re fighting to build.
What people don’t see are the sacrifices.
That the work we do requires skilled people who deserve to be paid for their time — while I’ve never taken a paycheck.
That I left a career I built over 15 years. That I walked away from nursing school — because this mission doesn’t allow for halfway.
They don’t see the sleepless nights. The breakdowns. The quiet heartbreak of holding a fading life, hoping your efforts will turn it around, and knowing there’s no room for grief — only action.
They don’t see what it costs to build something this region has never had. A safe haven. A last chance for the most fragile and forgotten.
And now, with my husband recently out of work, we’re facing even more strain. But I keep going — because I believe this mission is worth every sacrifice.
We have poured everything into this, because it’s absolutely needed. Bridges need to be gapped, and we are proving that.
What started as a childhood dream has become a calling — one that’s saved hundreds of lives and touched thousands more.
This is real. This is urgent. And it’s sustainable — with support.
Just a small-town girl, doing what she loves, fighting every day to give the voiceless a second chance, and keep pets with their families.

Meow Monday: Start Your Engines!
What’s cuter than kittens?
Kittens in a race.
Chasing kids.
In the grass.
At full baby speed.
These 5-week-old nuggets were champions of chaos and experts in zoomies. Raised in foster care with kids, they learned early that humans = fun, snuggles, and snack opportunities.
Every kitten we care for gets love, socialization, and space to grow into confident, playful companions. And yes—sometimes that looks like a full-speed kitten stampede. These guys will be at Petco on LA ave in a few short days!

Caturday Spotlight: Prawn
This stunning girl has the softest apricot coat with striking marbled swirls — but it’s her heart that truly sets her apart.
Prawn came to us from a heartbreaking hoarding situation. Only one of her kittens had survived — the rest were killed by other cats, a heartbreakumg reality of colony life. But even after all she’d been through, Prawn didn’t give up. She not only raised her own baby, but stepped in as a surrogate for other orphans in need.
Prawn is gentle and shy, slowly learning that humans can be safe and kind. She thrives on routine and would do best in a quiet, patient home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace.
Now spayed, vaccinated, and ready for adoption, she’s looking for a calm corner of the world — and someone who sees the beauty in her quiet bravery.
