Meet Bombay. He was born June 2006, and his birthday is celebrated on the 4th, which is close when he was born. Sadly, he passed away February 10, 2015.

These little stations are popping up all over the state where I live. Think they would be great in all communities as a first step when people find lost pets. Most so with the side helping to say what to do without a chip found. Thoughts?

Inside every small house cat (or domestic cat) is a wild kitty inside. Happy 30th to the movie I was obsessed with as a kid, and just grew my love of cats.

It’s that time of year again! With summer time can be “Fun in the Sun” time, it can also meant pet safety reminders!
☀️ 🐕 🐈
ALWAYS make sure to have water available at all times. 💧
Make sure to check the temperature before going out for walks. 🚶‍♀️
Do not leave your animal in a vehicle that is not running, even if “just for a minute” or “parked in the shade”. 🚗
When outside, even in grass, try to take some time to spend some time in the shade, and when outside make sure there is shade even when in the yard. 🌳
Talk to your vet about more safety tips! ⚠️

Spring time means “kitten season”. While we strong encourage neutering (spay/castration), along with TNR (trap, neuter, release), kittens still will be born no matter how careful we are. So, just a few reminders. If you are worried mom won’t come back, check on the kittens every so many hours, place up a camera to watch, or put a ring of baking soda around, and watch for mom’s foot steps. No need to worry until after the 24 - 48 hour mark of no mom.

With Easter and other spring time panting and holidays coming, here is a reminder that ALL lilies are toxic to cats (even the ones that will claim are not can mildly be). Please make sure to keep them far from your feline friends.

We have been a little busy these last few months with holidays and life. However, wanted to make a little post for those of you who got pets in the past months, and getting them soon. Remember, routine and patience always pays off in the end. Just give them time.

With Thanksgiving approaching, we just wanted to give out some safe vs toxic food for those cooking at home with animals. While your pets’ NORMAL diet of dog or cat food is best, they do make special pet food for the holidays, and can food or a treat is always best to go with, if you do decide to give them some human food, make sure it’s safe. If your pet gets into any toxic food, make sure to cal your regular vet or your closest emergency veterinary clinic ASAP for what to do next. Everyone have a safe and happy holiday! 🦃

Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. To all those that we have lost, we remember you, and miss you, and hope to see you again at the rainbow bridge. Take a moment of silence to those animals that we have meet and those that changed our lives.
