☀️The days are continuing to get hotter here in South Louisiana! ☀ During these summer days, heat strokes become more common. Knowing how to recognize a heat stroke & what to do in the situation can help save your pet. This week we will focus on the signs, symptoms and treatments for heat strokes in your pets. Here are some preventative measures to help reduce a heat stroke from happening.

Everyone meet Merle! A gorgeous 13 week old Indian Ringneck. He was an absolute sweetheart at his first vet check up. 🦜 We are happy to report that Merle is exam showed he was happy, healthy and ready to take on the world!

Remember that regular health checks are essential in keeping our avian friends healthy. Here’s to many years of spreading your wings and flying Merle!! 💙🐦

Everyone help us welcome Scruffle & Tinkerbell to our clinic! ☺️ They came to see us for the first time and of course got ALLLLL the attention.

For their first visit, they did so good. A few curious sniffs, some ear twitches, and a whole lot of hoppiness! (ꜱᴇᴇ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴡᴇ ᴅɪᴅ ᴛʜᴇʀᴇ! 😉) We’re happy to report a clean bill of health and plenty of happy hops ahead.
