We (Kent and Stacey Iler) truly love the Labrador Retriever breed. We have had a black, yellow, and chocolate lab in our lives for the past 20 years. When we started raising our family, there is no other breed of dog that we would rather have or trust to be around our children! Labs are kind, extremely tolerant, intelligent, and above all loyal. Our 6 children have crawled on, climbed on, pulled o

n, and mercilessly loved on our dear labs, and we have never worried that our kids were in harms way. We have been working on improving the Labrador Retriever breed with every litter that we have whelped. Thus we have chosen to keep puppies from our own litters in order to maintain SKI Labrador's excellent temperament . At just over 3 weeks, the puppies got their first experience with gruel today. I’d say it was a success!

Look at these precious babies!!! They are two weeks old and their eyes have begun to open. If you or anyone you know is looking for an AKC labrador retriever, please DM us. Both parent have been health tested for hips, elbows, cardiac, EIC, PRA, & full DNA panel. Puppies will be microchipped, socialized, vet checked, and come with a one year health guarantee.

We have puppies!! Kaya delivered 10 healthy puppies early this morning. We have 4 black females, 2 black males, 3 chocolate females, and 1 chocolate male.

To decrease the risk to Kaya and her puppies, she is scheduled for a c-section next Thursday. ❤️

As I am seeing several people post that their pets have been hit by a skunk, I thought I’d share some insight on the best treatment. Living in the country, we have had many encounters with skunks.

When a dog is skunked, first thing, wipe the dog down with newspaper to absorb as much of the oils as you can. DO NOT GET HIM WET! Water will lock in the smell. Skunk spray is oil based and repels water so the skunk oil will work deeper into his coat if he gets wet. Take 1 qt of hydrogen peroxide and mix in 1 cup of baking soda. Add 2 Tablespoons of blue Dawn. Make a slurry/runny paste. Completely soak him in it. You may have to make several batches depending on the size of the dog. ABSOLUTELY NO WATER. Allow him to soak for at least 15 minutes, preferably 30 minutes. After allowing it to set, you can rinse throughly with water. You may have to repeat a couple more times. Concentrate it on the areas he took a direct hit. You can followup with your normal pet shampoo.

This information came from a groomer and vet. Many have agreed it works wonders.

We are excited to announce a successful breeding of Kaya and Chief today! Ultrasound to confirm pregnancy July 24 with chocolate and black puppies due August 30. Chief is 5th generation SKI Labrador line.
