So I don't usually endorse dog parks because I think they provide an unnecessary risk especially for sitters, but I have to say after being compelled to go to the Laguna Beach dog park by a client. I find this Park to be the most respectable I've ever been to. The people are friendly and attentive to their dogs, and yours :-) people hold the button for water for random dogs, and are friendly and chatty should you want to be. It's a vast open space and all the dogs I've encountered have been very friendly and well-behaved. Avoid Early or mid day on the weekends as that's when The Weekend Warriors come out with the dogs that have been cooped up all week. But during the week the place is awesome. Open at 6 a.m. and closing at dusk. The only day it's not open is Wednesday. If your pup is in need of some good exercise this is a reasonable solution.
