Hi everyone! I haven't posted in a minute but everyone is still doing great BUT.....remember our sweet Opal we rescued a couple months ago? Well.....she turned out to be a HE! So welcome Donald Duck to our Quacky Pack!

It's banana time! Lol...Spanky and Darla act like babies and need to be hand fed,they love to sit and be sweet while Lilli and Lulu eat theirs like it's their last meal....Stella likes to take from my hand and go to town. 🤩

Here's our newest rescue! She was raised with chickens and got very lonely as they all got older. She's a 3 month old Mascovy and we will have to come up with a name....can't wait to surprise the kids when they get home.

I wanted to film her as she walked out of her crate but she was so happy to finally see other ducks she ran right into their house to say hi! They all were chit chatting, maybe later I'll catch them all outside for a quick video.

Her original owners said she was the only duck and was getting lonely....I had to get her, she's gonna be so happy here 🥰

Haven't posted in a while due to the extreme heat, I don't venture outside much to take pics or film but today Ava wanted to harvest some eggplant so this is what our garden looks like right now. 🤩

Harvested our 1st watermelon to see if it's ripe so we get a better idea when to pick the others....fingers crossed...

Nothing goes to waste around here and now the piggies get an extra healthy treat that will keep them busy for the rest of the day. Our cucumbers died out so me and Ava tore them out of the garden bed and gave to the pigs....we will plant lettuce and cauliflower flower next...

The hardest part with rescues is not knowing the entire story behind the animal or to know the exact truth about their upbringing and how or what they eat....it's like starting from scratch...we always have to monitor them going to the bathroom, eating and drinking...so far she's nibbled on a piece of banana and mushy pig pellets....no water or potty yet.... I will be headed out to buy her a bed and bowls soon

We are cleaning out the pools this morning...they sure love taking a shower while it's filling 🥰 And yes...a couple of the boys jumped the fence to get in on the action...their pool will be cleaned put next.
