How can a 2yr old duck go from normal to not in under 24hrs time?
I'm sad to report that our Black Swedish Negan is declining at a rapid rate and we haven't gotten an actual diagnosis from the vet visit yesterday.
Saturday night he couldn't walk more than 2 steps and would sit down. Next day he was the same, we separated him from the others. Monday he stopped attempting to get up, Tuesday was the soonest vet appointment...he started flipping around and scooting to move....today he worse. Now his feet just lay there dragging when he scoots around. Yes his feet and legs work, he's not paralyzed. There's some disconnect...anyone have experience?
He's eating and drinking, going to the bathroom...he's head is up and alert and aware of his surroundings, it's his body that had given up.
F***l test, lungs and heart all normal...waiting on blood work results.
He's on antibiotics just to rule things out but no signs of improvement. He's eating healthy like he always has.
I'm beyond devastated 😢
