After an animals SURGERY major/minor , they may not want to eat/drink , pee/poop , move or play - suffering is difficult to know if no physical abnormalities, or if they do not cry or whine.
Call the local vet if you need to 1st , then 247 hour vet emergency , and last who charges $75 to talk & wait time is very long
You can dilute their dry food with water - or boil carrots , any veggies . Or boil chicken. I would not recommend any other meat other than boiled chicken.
You can try giving baby food or putting some on the top of whatever food.
Your companion animal will always be your baby — no matter how big they grow , or how small they stay.
The strong must protect the weak & vulnerable.
