Meet Munchkin – Your New Shadow, Snuggler, and Best Friend ?
This is Munchkin, a 5-year-old neutered pitbull with a heart bigger than his blocky head and a smile that melts even the toughest days. He’s fully house-trained, knows his manners indoors, and is desperately trying to master the art of polite leash walking (we’re working on it – he just gets so excited to explore with you).
Munchkin was attacked in a kennel by another dog, leaving him a little on edge around new pups. With people? Instant love. He’ll follow you from room to room like your personal bodyguard, curl up beside you on the couch (or on you, if you let him), and greet you at the door with a full-body wag that says, “You’re home! My world is complete!”
He sleeps like a 70-lb teddy bear – preferably pressed against your side, under the covers, with one paw on your leg just to make sure you’re still there. His favorite things? Cuddles, car rides, treats, and you. He doesn’t care if you’re having a bad day — he’ll just rest his head on your lap and remind you that love doesn’t need words.
Munchkin isn’t just a dog. He’s a survivor who chose joy anyway.
He could’ve been gone yesterday… but today, he’s here. Warm. Breathing. Hoping.

🍀 Meet puppy Yam, a Seacca 4mo pittie puppy angel survivor ready to embrace life, heal and be loved. Today marks a hopeful new beginning for Yam. His recovery journey will be challenging and costly, but he’s a resilient and strong little warrior.
Despite the shelter’s hardships and conditions, Puppy Yam remains a symbol of innocence, reminding us of how resilient dogs are no matter what, and that what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
You can say this is cheesy. It also is true.
Thank you for all involved in this little angel rescue. 🫶🙏

See. No mission is impossible! Hazel was minutes away from death only cuz she got sick at the shelter. There was no reason for her to be set to die today, as she has fabulous behavior notes, unfortunately she has URI she contracted at the shelter that led her to end up on death row TODAY.
We couldn’t let that happen. With a lot of the good rescue village we work with this beautiful lady was saved just in time. She’s now at the vet until Monday and maybe longer depending how severe her URI is. She is safe and she’s definitely going home someday, she will be up for adoption after she’s healthy spayed, evaluated and assessed, to thrive and rise in her future most wonderful home. Thank you everyone who helped with this last minute rescue for a golden girl 💎

Wonderful dogs.. Wonderful people… if only anyone would care as much as we dk for their animals this post wouldn’t even exist … the last few months we have rescued dogs, that’s our mission. It is so sad tho that some dogs we rescued were perfectly adoptable, tho they were on the kill list because of lack of discs and because they were sick, sickness contracted at the shelter. This is never going to stop as the URI is spreading quickly at most LA shelters. Dogs come in healthy, they get sick and either die or get rescued. Then the rescue has to deal with the very contagious kennel cough. I used to rescue dogs on death row because of “behavioral issues”. I don’t even think this is a thing anymore because how insane the dog shelter crisis is in Los Angeles. I may be wrong. But here are some of the very wonderful we rescued thought out the summer and fall. Luckily most of them have an amazing place they can call HOME, forever. My heart aches for the ones who aren’t so lucky. Life is precious. Dogs are so innocent. They are so loyal and resilient. I really don’t know the solution to this insane problem, except for don’t get a dog if you don’t care for it, work with your dog, be patient, spay and neuter. PLEASE. As a rescue, I AM EXHAUSTED. Heartbroken every minute of every second of every blink of a thought of these beautiful loyal souls who are longing for a true love that they will cherish and stay true to FOREVER.
Please be good to your loyal furry friends. They are your family.

🦮 ADOPTED🦮 Meet gorgeous pup Brad Pitt! Just rescued from Lancaster, he’s a pitbull we believe mixed with sharpei. Brad is neutered and healthy. He ways around 69lbs.
Mister Brad is a very good boy around 1yo. He was surrendered because of a snake bite and his owners couldn’t afford his vet care for the bite. He was rescued from Lancaster shelter and his behavior notes are top notch. Best boy ever.
Brad is very very loving dog who loves to cuddle with people and stares at your soul when laying his head on your chest. He loves to seat on you and just wants to be held. He’s still young so he does have puppy energy but he’s great on leash actually he demands cuddles when walking he stops to ask for loving. He’s also 100% potty trained and will call you if he has to go outside to do his business. He’s a perfect baby who’s looking for his perfect forever home.
He’s a mix of all the good things. Loyal, loving, well behaved, playful and healthy, plus absolutely gorgeous !
