MISS Lara Starz who's life was going to end yesterday at Downey shelter was not only saved but adopted into a forever wonderful home thanks to a big team effort! A HUGE thanks to .0 for jumping in and getting her out and driving over 10 hours to her new family, and to .for.love for bringing this sweet girl to my attention!
Shes adjusting wonderfully and her parents are already obsessed with her, she's the best girl!

This is only in the event of evacuation.
With the fire season we are asking our followers in Auburn, Placerville, Roseville or Sacramento nearby areas, if they would be willing to foster one or two dogs, should we have to evacuate. Looking for 7 small dogs. Dogs are all dog friendly 3 of them take time to warm up to humans.
1. Baby Blue- has to be kept indoors/ cool except for potty, has hip dysplasia. Loving. 45 pounds
2. Papa Pigs- has hip dysplasia and has to be kept cool. Loving. 50 pounds
3. Jake- bite risk if touched. 14 pounds
4. Annie- bite risk if touched. Once warms up is a sweet heart. 12 pounds
5. Archie- bite risk. Once warms up is a love bug. 10 pounds.
The bite risk dogs do not actively look to bite but have to be approached slowly. When left alone they seek human affection.
6. Freya the frenchie- naughty and sassy but very loving. She has a nerve damage in her re**um so she can cry while pooping. 33 pounds
7. Lala- total sweetie. 32 pounds

These 3 boys, Buck, Yoda and Rucker have been safely delivered to us from a NorCal shelter where they are struggling with space. We will be training them and working on their forever homes very soon after decompression and solid assessments. They all came from death row, they are wonderful boys, absolutely gorgeous and will be posted for adoption when ready. Please follow their story with us!

Buck is around 3yo gorgeous German Shepherd. Active
Yoda is around 3yo gorgeous pitbull. Active.
Ruckler is around pitbull

All and those 3 boys are healthy and fixed.

BREAKING NEWS!!! DEVORE IS FINALLY PUBLICLY EXPOSED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD! because these dogs are in desperate need of HELP! THEY are not sheltered but abused and neglected and it's always such a mess to rescue them they are always skinny some are sick they are all terrified and have been treated badly half the time prior to arriving at the shelter and ALL of the time by the shelter staff. They become rescue only because they growl at the staff whilst being catch poled, kicked, laughed at, called monsters. DEVORE needs to change and it needs to change now! I have been to the shelter to rescue 3 pitties last year they were all going to get killed that day I asked why they said they are full I looked around there were at least 10 open kennels! It isn't asking the moon to improve the dogs conditions there to let them out once in a while to welcome them with kindness instead of anger to give medical care to those hurt and injured! Those are basic things every other shelter has! Please share far and wide! Thank you so much Kaitlyn to step up and give this some much needed attention! It takes a village!

Leon the devore survivor only had 2 hours to get him out of the kill room all the way from 8 hours away Thanks to Pilots N Paws a miracle happened and he found a wonderful family that will be his second Christmas! Awoooohooo

🐾SASHA UPDATE!!!! 🐾 The Russian Princess... It literally NEVER happens as a rescue to get this crazy amount of success and good news within such a short period of time with dogs who have been deemed unadoptable for too many years. It is usually maybe a step forward and many more backwards. Because of their scary looks, coming from insecurities and fear and a most likely abusive scenario prior to being labeled aggressive and quickly facing death row at the shelter they came from (in this case, Devore shelter). Within just not even 2 weeks @dademus has sent me content that I literally wouldn't believe if I didn't see those videos. I recently posted about Boujee's outstanding progress, playing with other dogs and being okay with people. Boujee wasn't the hardest dog we rescued, but she was close to that rank. That was already like WOW. SASHA was the hardest rescue, only because her adoption chances dropped down to zero. Sasha and her trainer really did something beyond amazing here! Sasha we thought the only life we could offer her was sanctuary life because of her very intense reactivity to dogs, and sometimes people. She was hard to read, and as sweet as she can be, sometimes she switched to a different dog potentially can hurt people and definitely other dogs. Sasha has NEVER for the last 3.5 years been around another dog without trying to attack it. One week in with her trainer and this happens. I don't need to explain how much of a HUGE step this is and how beyond thrilled we are to see this. It's just the best Christmas present we could ask for. Baby steps always and watching her consistency with her good behavior towards hopefully finally a forever loving home for this sweet girl. I believe in miracles and thanks to @dademus again, I've seen 2 in the last few days. We will be visiting Sasha and Boujee this weekend. Y'all feel the love??? 🕯️🔥 BIG BOUJEE UPDATE!!! 🔥🕯️ For those who know this little monkey, she has been scary to many and absolutely not dog friendly. I rescued Boujee from Devore 2.5 years ago and as cute as she is she intimidated almost everyone so it was almost impossible to find her a home. She finally found a place to be trained with the best @dademus Boujee has made HUGE improvement within just a few weeks!!! She's the one with the blue collar, and to see her being friendly not only to people but to see her off leash with 5 dogs and playing and making friends it's THE BIGGEST DEAL EVER! I am absolutely speechless and if you know you know, she came a VERY long way. So grateful for her trainer to give her the chance she deserves!!!! She's looking for her FOREVER HOME I am crying over these updates and I hope you all appreciate it!!!
