Sweet Gimli went to his furever home tonight. I am so incredibly happy he found such an amazing home. 💙 We are definitely going to miss him. But I'm so glad he is staying local.

Dixie and Dallas were the first Aussies to steal my heart. They were a brother and sister that were given to me. I use to sell vegetables at a local tailgate market. A couple that had been my customers for years had been fostering 2 Aussies which their previous owner had passed away. They couldn't keep them since they had too many dog already. They begged me to keep them since I lived on a farm. And for the first time in my life I didn't have any other dogs. So of course I took them in. Growing up I had always had Bored Collie or Blue healers and of course a couple of mix breeds along the way, all wonder dogs but nothing like an Aussie, At that point in my life I was living on my own for the first time. They were my best friends, my watch dogs and my loyal companions. They were such amazing dogs, I knew after having them I would never have any other breed. And as you can see they absolutely loved my niece and my two boys.

These sweet black tri have been stood up (claimed then unclaimed) so many times it breaks my heart💔. Black tris have always been one of my favorites. They are always so overlooked. But they are some of the most intelligent and calm pups that came out of this litter. They are so incredibly sweet. I still have one female and two males looking for their Furever homes. Their adoption fee has been adjusted to try to help. They are all up to date on shots and deworming. Fully potty trained and we have started working on basic commands.

Banks is really learning the loose leash technique quite well. That's exactly what you are looking for. You want to train them to stay right beside you and check in on you. When people ask me if Aussies are good with kids. Every one of our Aussie loves kids. It's all about breeding for temperament, socialization and positive exposure. Australian shepherds are some of the easiest to train dogs. It's all about how much work, time and love you want to put into your companion. There is a reason that in almost any commercial that has a dog in it; it's an Australian Shepherd. And that's because they're extremely trainable. Don't believe me you should look up My Aussie gal on Google, youtube, Instagram, tick tock.
