Trevor’s adopter shared this sweet little snapshot of life with her favorite pup, and we couldn’t resist sharing it with you! 🐶💙

"We’ve settled into a cozy routine: daily walks, long afternoon naps, and car rides (still his favorite thing!) many times a week. I had to travel for work in May, so a friend came to stay with him. After a few days of getting to know each other, by the second night I was gone, Trevor had already charmed his way into sleeping in bed with her. 😍"

That’s our boy! Just living the dream, making friends, and reminding us that sometimes the best things in life are the quiet, happy, everyday moments. 🐾🥰

🐶 Anakin — Mid peanut butter lick or auditioning for the next lick-o-meter challenge. Seriously, is there a more dedicated face to peanut butter love? 🥜👅

🐶 Digby — That ‘inhaled a bug by the pond, it came out of nowhere’ moment… protein snack or sneak attack? 😂🌱🐛

🐶 Glitter — Caught mid “oh no, here it comes” moment — when the sneeze is roughly ten times bigger than her actual body size. Bless you, Glitter! 🤧✨

🎉🐾 HUGE ADOPTION CELEBRATION!! 🐾🎉

Today, we’re over-the-moon excited to announce that Perri has taken the next big step in his adventure — and it’s in a loving forever home! 🏠💙 Even more special? He’s sharing this new chapter with MAS alumni Dewey, who was adopted way back in December 2018! 🐕🐕

That’s right — Perri now has a built-in best friend to help him settle in, show him the ropes, and make every day one worth wagging about. We’re absolutely thrilled for this perfect match and can’t wait to watch their friendship flourish.

HUGE congratulations to Perri, Dewey, and their amazing family! Thank you for choosing to adopt, and for giving both of these precious pups a place to call home for life. 💕🏡

In Loving Memory of Macho Man

🌈 March 16, 2015 – June 17, 2025 🌈

Yesterday, we said goodbye to our beloved Macho Man as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Though he never found a home outside of MAS, he was deeply loved and cared for every single day by our team and volunteers. Macho was a gentle, resilient soul who faced countless medical challenges with quiet strength and grace.

Despite a long list of health issues—from chronic solar dermatitis and multiple skin cancers to debilitating arthritis and severe allergies—Macho always found joy in the little things, and we did everything we could to make his time with us full of comfort and love. His final week was filled with extra enrichment, compassion, and care from those who cherished him most.

He will be missed more than words can say.
