She will come with copies of Dam & Sire pedigrees and other applicable documentation, socialization checklist, dewclaw removal, first rounds of vaccines, and confirmation of her wellness check that took place at 6 weeks. She will also come with a blanket that has mom’s scent on it for ease of transition, AKC paperwork, a puppy pack, and puppy food to get started.

It is a bittersweet day. It is our last full day with all 9 pups.

Looking back on the last 8 weeks, we have learned so much. We lost puppy #10 which was completely heartbreaking. We spent the first week and few days sleeping right next to the puppies and mama so we could watch/listen closely, then moved them closer to our bedroom to monitor. We successfully made the transition from soft puppy food to hard puppy food. In between all that, Mama Oakley had to spend a few days with the vet under close eyes as she got a severe case of pancreatitis (nothing to do with having a litter, just terrible luck & timing) but fortunately we had weened from nursing at that point. Another heartbreaking event, but we’re thankful she is back to her normal self now! All of them came home with compliments of beauty and great health at their 6 week wellness checks. We have managed to get them mostly potty-trained. Name recognition has been going well. Most of the puppies know “come,” and they certainly know when it’s time to eat. They love to play with sticks and leaves, they love to play with their siblings and their mama, they love being outside in the sunshine, they like chew-toys like puppy bones and they like playing with a ball, and they are the best kissers & snugglers.

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, we are so thankful for finding such loving homes for these pups. They really are the best babies & it is a hard process to ensure we find the right placements for them, where we know they will get the training, playtime, and love they deserve, but we have truly found the best homes. I have already cried (happy) tears thinking about this journey and the next chapter for these sweet grand-pups of ours!

All of our puppies will make great companions; we have one who will be training with St. John Rescue in the Virgin Islands, several who will be hunting partners to their families, and some who are simply joining their family as a new edition!

Our Dam & Sire are both on-site to meet, AKC registered with health testing through Embark, OFA Hips, OFA Elbows, and OFA Eyes.

Puppies come with AKC paperwork, copies of Dam & Sire pedigrees and other applicable documentation, socialization checklist, dewclaw removal, first rounds of vaccines, de-wormed (upon review of stool sample & deemed necessary), and of course an all-clear by the vet following their wellness exams at 6 weeks. They will each get a blanket with mom’s scent on it for ease of transition & a puppy pack.

All 9 puppies came home with wellness certificates from their exams today. Both boys look great & all seven girls look great. Healthy as can be! We got a ton of compliments from the staff about our beautiful litter 🥹🥰

We are so blessed.

5 weeks old today!

All of the puppies are doing good transitioning to hard food, not completely there yet and still allowing time for the kibble to soften. We are in the beginning stages of potty training - doing trips outside after meals to start that introduction and not just puppy pads/inside. Today is day 3 of outside potty time!

We have two puppies left: one black male & one black female (white collar)

Over the next 3 weeks, we will continue to work on potty training, socialization, basic commands, and name recognition with the puppies.

Ready to go home June 9; most families have chosen time slots to come pick up. We are so thankful for the families who are taking one of our puppies and we share their excitement in this next chapter!

Reminder: payment is due in full at 6 weeks of age (1 week from today) unless discussed prior to today, as indicated on the application.

Got the pups outside again today for a few minutes of sunshine and fresh air. They liked it much more today than when we did it the first time! They move so much quicker, it’s a blast watching them observe their surroundings and chase each other around. 🖤🤎

Yesterday, May 10 Attempted to get some more individual shots of the pups. Much harder now that they’re bigger and moving more! I woke them up from their naps to do it - you can see some have tired eyes, “bed head” and some (yes, you, Willis) didn’t stay awake for more than a picture or two 😂😍 I got more pictures of some than others just due to some sitting still or simply clicking the capture button at the right time.

Today, May 11 Last day nursing with Mama Oakley.

Tomorrow, May 12, we start adding in puppy kibble to their soft food and begin the transition to puppy kibble completely. They will be 4 weeks old tomorrow which is crazy to think about! 🖤🤎

We have LOTS of puppy families coming this next week & some visitors for socialization ☺️

No picture updates on this post, these babies keep us busy!

As of Sunday evening, all puppies are 3lbs or more. We started the transition to soft puppy food on Sunday as well (messy!) and they are loving it! Puppies or piglets? So cute!!

We for sure have one black female available and one black male available. Inquire via AKC Marketplace or messenger.

We moved the puppies from the pool into a playpen set up yesterday, which gives them much more room to move around as they continue to grow. Most of them have been utilizing puppy pads really well so we’re excited to start the process of potty training while they’re still inside before we transition to more outside time and outside potty training!

We have several puppies with teeth coming in full force!

All the puppies are still doing well nursing. Today we start the process of puppy food to wean off mama - so bittersweet and messy! 😝

They are 3 weeks old today. Well, dark blue, our chocolate male, is technically 3 weeks and 1 day old. His family came today and got to love and snuggle on him! “Willis” 💙

We are so fortunate to have such amazing and loving families to send our puppies to. Thank you all for sharing this journey with us! 🤎🖤

We took the puppies outside for a few minutes each yesterday for some fresh air and sunshine. They also got upgraded from velcro collars to clip collars. 🤎🖤

🖤🤎 PUPDATES 🤎🖤
All puppies have their eyes open. Most are learning to walk or are starting to master being up on all fours versus scooting around. Mama is still doing well nursing on demand, but minimally every 2-3 hours. Babies are all gaining weight, as they should. We have a few who are more quiet than the rest. Be prepared for loud, vocal, sweet puppy talk if your volume is on. You’ll also get to see the most adorable yawns if you watch closely. We’re seriously obsessed with this journey; the snuggles, the puppy breath, watching them grow, talking to them, and everything in between. Early mornings, sleepless nights, it’s all worth it.
