'Quiet Afternoon' (昼下がり), a 2002 etching, by Norikane Hiroto (乗兼広人, born 1949), a contemporary Japanese sosaku-hanga (creative prints) artist from Hiroshima Prefecture (広島県).

Norikane Hiroto graduated from Sokei Academy of Fine Art and Design and studied under Yoshida Hodaka (吉田 穂高, 1926–1995) and Katō Kiyomi (加藤清美, born 1931 in Tokyo).

Using etching and mezzotint, his designs concentrate on scenes of rural Japan, as well as other studies of traditional Japanese subject matter, and he typically uses subdued colours.
