The dog world lost a legend. RIP, Cochiti.

Words cannot express the incredible loss the dock diving and whippet world experienced yesterday. The one that started it all for whippets, Cochiti. He was the OG. He paved the way for all future whippets in dock diving, including Team Sydfire. We wouldn’t have stepped foot on the dock if it wasn’t for him. Spitfire’s first leap off of the practice ramp is all thanks to Diane and Cochiti. He broke numerous records, is in the DockDogs Hall of Fame, and his name once resided in the Guinness Book of World Records. Now, his legacy lives on through his grandson, Sounders. Thank you for showing us the way, Cheese and for being an absolute inspiration.

RIP Yeager. Many people in the dog world knew and loved this boy. He was an amazing ambassador for dog world in multiple ways: sport dogs, rescue dogs, and especially for his breed, Belgian Malinois.

Friends of Lucid,

In advance, we hope that this note finds you and your family healthy and happy this holiday season.

One of our longest-running clients (we've worked together since 2015) is a gal named Bridget. If you've ever been to the Moda Center and have seen a large German Shepherd working alongside a smiling woman in a wheelchair, you've seen Bridget and Axel.

Earlier in the year, Bridget lost Axel to cancer.
After he passed away, we helped Bridget secure a great new puppy from Johnson Point Labradors (Olympia, WA). Partnering with our friends at Paw and Hand K9 (Aumsville, OR), we continue to work with Bridget and her new puppy, Sadie, and they are doing fantastic.

At this time, Bridget is organizing a fundraiser to help cover the cost of continued training. If you can contribute by donating to the cause or sharing this post (or both!), it would be greatly appreciated.
