Little Izzie is done with her training and back home with her family🩷 She was such a fun girl to work with. She excelled in all aspects of her training to be such a young puppy. She's a fearless little thing and everyone she met was her friend. Can't wait to watch this girl grow up!

Welcome Huck. This little Boykin is wild as they come! Huck is with us to start his duck dog journey and today he got to showcase his natural abilities with some water retrieves and get used to wearing an ecollar and hearing the tone on it. We're excited to be working another Boykin, a breed that has become our favorite little brown dog.

Bailey working retrieves with gunshots, she also got her first duck retrieve, along with retrieving a freshly shot quail. We're proud of the progress she's made along the way! She was a tough one to unravel and find what made her click to be able to use an ecollar for her training, while she was also gun shy. Luckily we love to problem solve dogs, and figure out what makes each dog tick. Our training program is definitely not one you put in a box, we look at each dog in front of us and develop a plan for that specific dog, they all learn differently and we want to set each dog up for success not failure.

When I say we have some of the best clients anyone could ask for we mean it. Mrs. Teri at Diamond T Embroidery was hit very hard by the hurricane and has been unable to do any Embroidery since then. Yesterday we stopped by to see if they were up and running yet and she told me she was wanting to try to move an older machine from her house to her store but, was waiting on some help. We made a few phone calls and put together a team that was willing to help. Our Flatwoods group really is one big family full of some really great people and we are so blessed to know them. Thank you to My dad, Scott, Charles, Gage and his friend.

The last dog has been moved from the gundog kennels and into the new building. Everyone is tucked in and buckled in for the night and we have music playing to keep all the dogs calm. We have left our business phone in the kennels with a Hotspot for one camera in the event of a power outage. If anyone needs anything or needs to reach us please message the page.

Today we went to Pets mart to visit our friends at United Saving Animals Rescue Team. We met some great dogs who are looking for their forever home. When you adopt from a rescue or shelter and bring proof of rescue, you receive two free private lessons from us to help get you and your new pet started on the right track. #flatwoodskennelsandtraining #rescuedismyfavoritebreed #rescuedog

Big Duke was an absolute unit on a leash and could pull a truck if he needed to, especially when there's distractions. We're really happy with how far Duke has progressed since coming to us. #flatwoodskennelsandtraining #rottweiler
