This was the hallway of the terminal hotel, and just flooded with natural light. Michelle Peterson threw out the suggestion to climb up on the window sill and I was able to capture this lovely photo.

A late post of the sunflower field at Columbia Bottoms, taken in early July. I stacked several photos for this but you can still see the dust cloud rising up from the gravel road every time someone drove up.

A visit to Eckert's in Belleville is always a good time, and in the rain can be an unexpected delight. We went for the sunflowers and covered our gear. These were taken one-handed while holding an umbrella to keep myself dry. Oh and the food at the restaurant is delicious!
