I have people ask me how I get hardwood floors so clean and dust free. Well here it is. I use the Bissell left off and a king head floor cleaning tool. As shown it the pictures. I got the king head from a use vacuum store in Everett. Works really good for getting hard to sweep areas and sucking the dirt a broom doesn't get. Faster then sweeping and better then using a swifter floor cleaner. I love this vacuum cleaner I have. Being able to use the canister as a small vacuum cleaner on stairs is great. Plus Bissell is a brand I love. I started using a cheap 35$ Bissell vacuum cleaner when I started my business. I had people who had a Dyson but was using my Bissell. That right there tells you what a good brand Bissell is. So here is my secret for nice clean floors.

I clean for some great people. Very thoughtful of my Tuesday clean to leave his pellet stove on to heat his house for me. My job may be hard sometimes but very rewarding. I love helping others.

I clean for gentlemen every other Tuesday. I have never met him. One day he called DCS looking for cleaning services. Every now and then he leaves me something. This is what he left me today. Can you say yummy.

Business is picking up. :) YA!!!! I have a dental office to look at tomorrow about coming and cleaning once a month. And I do a meet and greet in Lake Steven tomorrow also for a possible every other week clean. Plus I just email a lady my license and bond number plus some references for her to call on. AND.....I clean a new home plus their office on Friday. For their weekly clean. Yes I am feeling blessed.

Finally got my last name changed on my business license. It only took me two and a half years to do it. But at least now those who do look me up. If they pay me by check they will now know to write it out to Shelly Johnson instead of Shelly Lucas.

Walk in shower like this one are beautiful. To help with the big chore of cleaning it. Use daily shower Method. It is non-toxic and you can spray after each shower without rinsing. It helps keep the buildup of soap scum and mildew down.

It was a beautiful drive on hwy 203 this morning. On my way to clean a lovely home in Snoqualmie. Then a deer came out of no where. I hadn't finish my Coffee. But I sure did wake up fast.

What a week it has been this week. I have two new homes to add to my regulars that I clean for. One needed help because she takes care of her 96 year old mom. WOW!!! how awesome is that. And did a few move out/in. Was able to help a family with a move in. So they can spend more time with Dad before he is off defending our country. What a honor that was. Cleaning 8 homes in all. I am so happy to have a 4 day weekend to get some rest. Have a safe and happy Labor Day Weekend.
