"The Kill's" third full display night is upon us. We are fortunate to have the Ghostbusters here in force tonight along with three Ectos from their fleet. Get your haunt on, dark until 10:23pm. As always, the minions will be collecting non-perishable food and cash donations for our local food pantry.

Good evening Creepies! We are happy to finally publish a post in regards to Halloween 2024. The minions were set back about 8 months due to family issues, but have no fear... the minions are working feverishly to produce new props and scares for this season. Working on making some new "eye candy" and perhaps a startle scare or two. Our full display nights will be on October 18, 19, 25, 26 and 31. Mark your calendars! Check back for updates and stay spooky!

A shout out and thank you to a couple of the Ghostbusters that came out today to help us move the mausoleum parts that have become too heavy for this minion to lift. Three scenes have been put to rest and hopefully the remaining of the main yard will follow this week. Thank you all for visiting and for your generous donations to the food pantry!

Happy Halloween Creepies!!!
We're posting this early since the minions will be crazy-busy preparing for the big day tomorrow. Trick-or-treating will begin at 3:00pm by the hearse and continue until supplies run out. Once again, the Ghostbusters will be on site to keep the unknown entities at-bay. Startles and scares will be delayed to allow our younger minions to enjoy the holiday without having to go to counseling sessions. "The Kill's" full display with extra scenes, actors and effects will be after dark until 10:27pm. Once again, we will be collecting non-perishable food and cash donations for our local food pantry. The scares will be from dark until 10:27pm! Happy Haunting!

It appears that Mother Nature brought fall weather into our area this evening. Come celebrate at "The Kill on Old Mill" for our third full display night. The Ghostbusters will be on-hand to keep the troublesome entities at bay. Once again we will be collecting non-perishable food and cash donations for our local food pantry. The scares will be from dark until 10:27pm!

Howdy Creepies!
The minions are working double time to get "The Kill" together for another fun haunting experience. Some new unfamiliar beings have made their presence known, making preparations a bit unruly. They will most likely make an appearance within "The Kill" on full display nights.

What are the full display nights this year? Thanks for asking... October 20, 21, 27, 28, 31 (weather permitting). The basic "static" front yard (only) display will be lit up on October 2nd. We are happy to announce that the Ghostbusters will join the revelry on selected full display nights, dates TBD.

Hi Creepies,
"The Kill" is finally tucked away for a long winter's rest (except for the heavily damaged lawn). Thanks to all who visited during our record attendance "full display nights". Also thanks for your generous canned goods and monetary donations for our local food pantry. They were very appreciative when we delivered the goods. Your generosity is what has kept "The Kill On Old Mill" going for... 25 years! Spoiler alert, the Minions already have some major additions ready for the 2023 season. Happy Holidays all!

Hello Creepies!
The weather is beautiful for the first "full display" night at "The Kill on Old Mill"! The mayhem will take place from dark until 10:26pm.
Special guest appearance by some of the Lake County Ghostbusters. As always, we will be collecting non-perishable people and pet food donations for the local food pantry. Hope to scare you here!

The Kill's minions strolled outside after dark to unexpectedly come across a very long line of tricked out Jeeps with colored LED lighting and sirens pulling away. Wish the minions were out earlier to let them know that we are only at 50-60% done setting up. Either way, thanks for dropping by, your Jeeps rocked!

Twenty-six years ago strange occurrences began happening on the border of the old graveyard and the pumpkin farmer's plot of land. The old pumpkin farmer disappeared and a cross between life and death made it's presence known. Everything has been amplified as the distant voodoo chants close in on "The Kill On Old Mill"! Highly detailed scenes and scares on our five full display nights!

Partial Static Yard Display: 10/3 - 10/31, Dusk - 10:26pm; Full Action Yard Display With Additional scenes, sounds, scares and effects on: 10/22, 10/23, 10/28, & 10/29, and 10/31 (weather permitting). Dusk - 10:26pm. The Lake County Ghost Busters will be on hand to keep the creepies at bay on selected full display nights (to be determined).
