Happy National Pet Day! How we all love our furry friends! They rely on us for many things. Food, water, snuggles, walks, grooming, social interaction... to name a few. Here are 4 additional things we can do for our pets:
1) Go through their toys and remove anything that is no longer safe for them.
2) Keep toxins and cords secured from your pets. Phone charges included.
3) Stay up to date on their vaccinations and wellness visits
4) Make sure the tags on their collars are secure and contact information on them, is up to date.

March 14th is Save a Spider Day! There are many people who have a fear of spiders (arachnophobia). Did you know that spiders are a valuable part of our echo-system? They have a substantial part in reducing the insect population. They trap and devour annoying pests such as cockroaches, pincer ants, as well as disease transmitting mosquitos and flies. They have been known to work together to kill toxic spiders. The friendly spiders you see hanging around in your garage or basement, they are well known to kill black widow spiders. If they didn't exist, the world's natural ecology would be out of balance.
