Imagine you and your dog are headed to the base of a beautiful mountain—one you've anticipated hiking together for years. You park along a dirt road and the air is filled with the scent of pine; the sound of wildlife is all around you. You open the door and as you get out of the car, your dog sits patiently, completely focused on you and your cues.

This is a leash-optional trail, and you're thrilled that you put in the work to train for a reliable and consistent recall. Did you know that when you tell your dog to "place", they are being asked to stay in that position for as long as you ask them to—even if your're not paying attention to them?
Your dog's ability for self restraint can be strengthened as they age. A puppy may only be able to go a few seconds, but a 2-year-old dog can be taught to "place" for much longer AND do it with plenty of distractions!

Why do we teach "place" as a basic command?

2 - Behavioral Control: The "place" command provides a clear and consistent way to manage your dog's behavior. It helps establish boundaries and reinforces your role as the leader. This can be particularly useful in situations where you want your dog to stay calm, safe, or attentive.
3 - Manners: Teaching your dog to go to a designated place is a life saver when you have guests or visitors—especially those who may be uncomfortable around dogs. It allows you to have better control over your dog's interactions and helps create a positive environment for everyone involved.
4 - Reducing Anxiety: For some dogs, having a designated place can create a sense of security and reduce anxiety. This is especially true in new environments or when faced with unfamiliar stimuli. The command can serve as a cue for your dog to find a safe spot and stay calm.

Few things are more precious or more fleeting than puppyhood. Those clumsy, oversized paws; those soft, floppy ears; and what about that puppy breath!?!?
But all of that adorableness quickly fades when adolescence hits and it's nonstop nipping, chewing, chasing, and in some cases, utter destruction.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Create and manage user accounts and permissions on various brand-wide systems, including the CRM, G-Suite, Twilio, LearningZen and DogStar DMS
• Document and communicate user account details per franchise to the billing department for accurate Tech Fee billing
• Provide support on user system issues as they arise
• Manage various pilot and Beta programs to improve systems as needed, identifying key regional participants, and gathering feedback to determine a brand-wide fit
• Plan, develop, and conduct individual and group training related to brand-wide systems
• Monitor system production to ensure compliance and quality
• Develop documents and videos for automated system procedures, manuals, and requirements
• Promote a culture of feedback and communication as we work to improve processes
• Help identify process improvements
• Help implement process changes
• Create, enhance, and improve various documents and videos on a bi-lingual scale
• Coordinate projects with other team members as needed

Salary: $44,000 with potential increase after 90-day review
