We have such a short winter! The buds are already swelling on the fruit trees. Spraying needs to be done in time in order to not kill the buds. Having healthy fruiting trees in your yard also helps your neighbors have ones in theirs 🍒 🍎 🍐

Parsley is truly a winter crop in Oregon! I’ve planted it everywhere and it’s best time of year is Jan/Feb. Together with celery and a green apple, it is a powerhouse of nutrition as well!

Potting up the babies. Our homemade soil equals our compost, rabbit refuse, some peet and some perlite. It takes a while to pot up 3-500 plants, but it’s worth it.

Heirloom tomato plants this season are coming along well. We have Brandywine, Cherokee Purple, Yellow Beefsteak, Black Krim, Japanese Black Trifle, Red Pear and Yellow Pear.
