With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I’m reflecting on the things that bring me joy and gratitude. My family, including our beloved pets, are a constant source of comfort and strength. I’m also thankful for our community, which is kind, supportive, and welcoming. The natural beauty that surrounds us is another blessing, with wonderful spots just a stone’s throw from our home. On a personal note, I’m grateful to have survived cancer and have been given another chance to appreciate the special people and moments in my life. What are you grateful for?

My favorite part of the day is my morning walks through the gardens. We are going to have a gorgeous tulip crop this year and I love checking the perennial flowers that are starting to emerge from the ground. I can’t forget to watch my step as Pickles and Parsley are always underfoot as they join me on my walks. I’m going to collect chicken and duck eggs before checking all the plants in the tunnels and the seedling room. I hope you all have a great weekend✌️

Hey folks, sorry I’ve been MIA for the last couple days, but we are busy busy here at Cranky Goose. Even though it’s early, it feels like spring is in full swing and we’ve been planting out the tunnels, starting even more seeds and adding a third tunnel to the front garden! This summer we are going to be putting on quite the show with even more flowers and some new varieties 💐

Anemones are being planted out in the tunnels this weekend along with ranunculus! Things are picking up and beds are being prepared for all the seedlings.
